The aim of this thread is to collect, at one place, interesting
stories, anecdotes, tit-bits etc, related to TFM. A newcomer to
the forum will find this collection very interesting to read. For
example, Ramki mentioned the following story in another thread:

  News from vikatan:
  
  After MS, KJY receives the honour of singing in UNESCO. The relevance stems with the declartion of the advancing millenium as the "peace-time zone" asking various artists from the world to perform. The beauty of the performance is that the music exponents from the presently warring countries were made to work together. KJY presented along with the paki band "Junoon".

  When the film Avvai Shanmugam was being shot. Director (Singeetam?) went to lyricist Vali and asked him to change certain words in a song. Vali obliged. Kamal, then asked him to change the words back to the original, again Vali obliged.
  The director again repeated his earlier request.
  Vali, by this time was a bit put-off and said to them. Between you people, I am not just Vali but Volley-ball.

  Crazy Mohan & his troupe had come to Hong Kong recently for a performance. Majority of his troupe were hosted by one Mr. M. R. Srinivasan.
  After the show was over, while Crazy Mohan was thanking the audience, He wanted to specially commend M.R.Srinivasan and he said.
  "Behind every succesful man there is a woman, as we all know. But in the case of M.R. Srinivasan, it is Mrs. MRS"
