  BTW, I just visited the TiS site and the count is 133, not 48! More will be updated soon.
  Also, by the end of the day, don't forget to visit the TiS site to read about IIR's visit to USA last week!

  if you have already contributed, why would you keep that as a secret? why don't you 'DECLARE' it? in what way are you different from other 133 contributors?
  
  
  It would be in the best interest of a public venture for you to stand upfront!!. There need not be any secrecy. It doesn't matter whether you gave 5 or 5000$. It is just that, when you ask for money (implying that you are doing a great SERVICE), the people expect to see hard proof of your involvement.
  
  So let's "declare" it as we are all the same.

  We really thought you are smart but you are proving otherwise. OK, here is our 'declaration'!!
  There are 3 columns in that page- US team, Local Contacts and Contributors.
  All those whose names appear in that page HAVE contributed for TiS.
  We didn't want our names to be everywhere and that's the reason we didn't put ours in the third column.
  Now, end this meaningless 'digressions' and please send in your share!
  It's not our fault if you dont understand and please don't waste our time anymore.

  i too understand and share ur concern. i believe u mention these words to be positive to the Tis organisation group.
  
  to my knowledge it is a custom that the organisers do not generally declare their contributions upfront (be in miniscule or mountain in monetarily aspect).
  
  yes, they are indeed answerable and accountable. but these aspect come into effect when the organised event is in the verge of completion. Reason? Obviously the auditors (including the public) would not get a complete picture of the income & expenditure for that event. Also the event organisers would be spending much time in the preparation and other event related activities. All they would be doing now is just record the inflow & outflow. They have to spend ample time to collect these records and prepare a STATEMENT that is fit to be produced for public/auditors' scrutiny.
  
  Then why on the hell they have released this list? Its a mark of acknowledgement and ofcourse a marketing strategy too. So it might not be correct on our part to expect that list to be complete. That is why it is just a LIST and not an account statement. Hence, as organisers, they have every right to give a tailored list. In that we cannot question. But I'm sure that they have to definitely declare (not mere ready to declare) once the time for the same has come.
  
  So, till that moment ripes, i.e. event completion, lets keep our armour (of auditing & seeking accounts) sharp and ready. OK.
  
  Lets leave them for time being to do their high priority thing which is the event related activities without this distraction.
  
  If we want & believe that IR can do it then lets wish them(IR & the organisers).
  
  btw, I have NOT given money towards it. I dont know whether I would be contributing or not. Still this didn't stop me to express a fact.

  We are ordinary people involved in an extraordinary project. We care for public money as much as everybody does to the point that we keep photo copy of every check issued by a contributor.
  
  We request all music lovers to refrain from any questions that might not add value to the project.
  
  If intentions of SR and others were to save the public from being cheated, please go ahead and take the steps to do investigation on all the people leading the US effort. We have made our address and phone number public. You have every right to hire a private detective to go after us. Otherwise, please be patient for event to unfold.
  
  Any explanation we give, will be insufficient. Please define your requirement and go about in a professional way. In fact, you can approach us directly with an email. Even better, please stop by our homes.

  Vikatan sometime back came with the scheme for rice donation to the poor farmers in the villages of tamilnadu. And they also released the detailed statement reg income and expenditure only at the end of the program not in the very beginning.Iam sure the concerned people in the TIS team will do the same when its released. Asking for the same now is premature.
  
  If you dont believe in this program dont donate any.

  The idea was not to show anybody in bad light. SR and others might have good intentions. But their approach is not helping anybody.
  
  We would love to have them be part of this history-in-the-making.

  I raised the concern, when SSS indicated that they were doing great service by painstakingly going through posts, spending time and money and what not.
  
  Nobody requested you to do it. You liked IR. You liked thiruvasagam. And you are doing it. Be HUMBLE. I am sure there are many IR fans who would do more than this.
  
  It is nice you are doing this. But try to be humble!!!. as you are aware, if some posters are bad, then let it be like that. you don't need to show off that you are working inspite of all those difficulties. People who visit this forum, knows english and can understand.
  
  If YOU HAVE DONATED good!!. if you don't want to say how much. that is all good. As I said before amount doesn't matter. i am sure people are looking at your contribution too. THERE is nothing wrong in declaring too.
  
  You have to stop playing Jekyll and Hyde character (quoting thiruvasagam and at the same shooting off others).
  
  Others who quoted examples: it is very nice. but looking at the failure of previous symphonies with IR, people expect more than that. one has been forced by IR's previous symphony releases to show more this time. well, that is my opinion.

  In any remote way, we had expressed any kind of superiority, please treat it as "Starting trouble" of ordinary people being pulled into extraordinary situation.

  I have contributed. My name appears on the list. But, on the US team's list no one's amount appears. Neither does mine.
  
  I am fine with it. I have complete faith in the goodness of humans like SSS, who are virtual strangers to me. I know some of you, who care a great deal about the public being cheated, will call me a naive idiot. But that's fine too. I am happy and content with my actions. I will also like to ask those who are trying to save me from being cheated to spare me. I don't want your help. Thank you.

  for the past few days they have been telling that the site will updated. it is like "puli vardhu puli vardhu".
  
  This is also like first symphony which is not realeased.
