  How much we are making??? mmmmmm......all your love[bad words included], your awareness, your contributions for a noble cause and most of all, all the chances to getting to know some wonderful people while in this project!!

  All our time, money and peace of mind[sometimes when we get toread mails from you and the likes! But, it is only momentary and the nobility of the project makes us forget this! So, never mind, you dont succeed!]

  As an after thought, we have decided to introduce to you all what is "Thiruvasakam" !! Expect our commentary for a few verses everyday from tomorrow in this thread. Then, you will know the greatness of what we are talking about. It's our mistake. We should have started this long time back! You had asked for it! Enjoy!!

  Wheather its a service or a paid dream its upto the people to make it a success or a flop.
  If its a service then well and good.
  And Don't worry i won't post a message in this thread bad mouthing TIS again, it is up to people to decide.

  i'm an ardent fan of ilayaraja and his music. i'm still puzzled at why, "SSS" has still not posted any relevant details about the project, in terms of who the singers are. its been promised for a while and still there is no news. can you pls post some info?

  I would like to know the person who promised you details about singers involved in this project. To the extent that I know, I am sure that none of us from the team, made such promise.
  
  If it happened so, we take full responsibility. I would like to let you know that we can't publish such information.
  
  We are definitely responsible to publish the progress made so far. We will do that before end of this week. We made some significant strides last week.

  The above 4 lines are the opening verses of "Thiruvaasakam" written by the Saint MAANickavaasagar, who is worshipped as one of the "nAAlvar" [the foursome] in the Saivaa tradition. These verses also form the opening verses of "Civapuraanam", meaning the glory of Civaa. It has 95 verses!!
  Here he salutes the glory of Lord Civaa as the the embodiment of the five elements which are called 'na', 'ma', 'ci', 'vaa', and 'ya', meaning the earth, water, fire, air, and the sky [nilam, neer, neruppu, kaatRu and aagaayam] respectively. As the Controller of these 5 elements, HE should be hailed and HIS feet are hailed. He further goes on to say that such a magnificient Person resides ALWAYS in our hearts, whether we realize HIM or not and to such a Divine form, MV offers his salutations. "namacivaaya" also means the 5 lettered sacred word for Lord Civaa as nama-civaaya, meaning salutations to Lord civaa.
  I want you to contemplate on this holy thought and how we either realize HIS presence in us, either all the time or some times only or never at all and in spite of that how the Lord is always offering all these five elements all the time to all of us and how we misuse, neglect, refuse, dont share, and disregard their permanent presence amidst us. Just a thought, I urge you to consider and contemplate.
  This is only the beginning and if you want us to stop, we will do so!!

  I have been a silent observer. I think a valid concern has been raised. You are infact, digressing from the subject.
  
  I don't think anybody would pinch in 5 crores if Thiruvasagam is composed by Kunnakudi or some other MD.
  
  just for the sake of ilayarja, people are trying to contribute. There is no point in 'quoting' verses from thiruvasagam, when 'reality' knocks your door. This is kind of an escapism.
  
  Let us see what SSS has to say instead of digressing to the questions raised as they only said that they have been spending money, and time.

  'gOgazhi', there are different meanings for this word.
  1. To attain knowledge or realization, one needs a guru. He is the one who can take you across the sea of ignorance. So, here, gOgazhi means the sea of ignorance.
  2. However much a parent may play a part in the generation of a child, the final act of that child entering this world is in the hands of God or Nature, whatever one may wish to call it. Here the word assumes a different meaning.
  3. It is also generally referred to as the abode where God or the Supreme Force resides.
  You may take whatever that pleases you from the above. To that Force, I offer my salutations at HIS/ITS feet!
  HE is the Way, path and the one who regulates that path. To HIM, I offer my salutations at HIS feet. Remember Jesus' words-- I am the way, path and the Truth- and see the Universality in this verse!
  HE is one[yEkan] but at the same time HE dwells in every living and non-living creatures[anEkan]. For example, IIR is one ordinary individual like any of us but he is able to transcend into all of us thru his music. If an ordinary mortal like IIR can make us feel this statement, imagine the FORCE that is responsible for all of our existence!
  You should understand that Saint MV was an ordinary minister in the PANdiya kingdom but later was transformed into a noble civanadiyaar by God's grace. Hence, the agnostics and the atheists should remember that these verses are in praise of GOD whom he believed and should not attempt to ignore the tone and the mood.
