Hi guys,im sure its gonan release soon,posters & Trailors r out,all together 6 songs....
1.Manavane
2.Yetho Yetho
3.Misai Veitha Ambalai
4.Ding A Ling
the 5th & 6th song i cant remember much,but the songs will difenetly be a hit ...Do discuss on them,Just one request,IR fans,if u wanna discuss on the songs,ur welcome,but if u come here to bash ARR,PLz leave this Thread,ok va?

  Yeah I agree E20 U18 is awesome. when i listened to the songs after reading this page, i thought all of you were hyping, but it only took my another 1 hr.to change opinion. It needed only 2 listenings to like this album. This movie has wonderful catchy tunes. I Think this is excellent stuff.

  E20U18 songs are simply amazing and is a good follow up after BOYZ. I liked four songs very much (Yetho - Yetho,Azhaginna Azhagi,Santhipoma, Kama kama better than the remaining two. Asathura Asuthara looks nice after a few listenings. As ARR had said earlier you have to listen to his songs a few times and very soon you will begin to realize how it starts to grow in you. It is simply a great score from this chennai maestro.

  IMO, the Sandhipoma and Yedo Yedo are really excellent. If you listen very carefully, the Azhagine Azhagi sounds very much like the middle of "Ale Ale" Boys Song. And, the "Kama Kama" and "Nanbaragaley" doesnt that interesting. The Surprise package of this album is "Asathura Asathura"......Very Mediocre Song. This song just resembles the "Chukamala Chukumala" song of some TR Simbhu's Song of his FATHER's music. Cudnt tolerate a Song inspired from a local song of TRR. Pls listen to the two mentioned songs and you can find it for urself.

  I can understand u saying theresemblance to ale ale, which is too minute. Infact ale ale sounded a bit like the baba song! I wouldnt bother about the ale ale similarity.
  Now u just did the most atrocious thing on the universe! u compared ARR to TRR? Ridiculous, first of there are no similarities, secondly no music director would stoop so low for inspiration, including Deva! If ur motive was to degrade ARR, u have succeded, infact if ARR reads ur post he might ................ uhhhhhhhhhhh........... Guys when u compare 2 songs let it make sense

  you listen to both the songs n tell me. am not trying to degrade ARR...am just telling that i was also surprised when i heard ARR getting inspired from a TRR Song. Except for a few of his songs, even a new born baby can create good music when compared to TRR.

  I had the "oru nanban iruthal" song stuck, and everytime I try to hum it, it turns into "20 vayasil aruva kolaru" by HJ... I cant shake it off now, I have both the tune mixed up.

  I will place this album next to AP in terms of melodies and variety rahman has crafted.Technically he hasn't composed any thing different than any other MDS in TFM but after listening to each score you clearly visualize tonal quality of each instrument redered with a matching voice. What else director can ask for. When it comes to rich theme based score, burden lies on the director to come up equally strong with visual content.
  
  
  There is a influence of celtic rhythm in Asthura and clever use of noise pattern which waves in background. The Dynamic tempo variation in Orunan.. song is a surprise. Initial tune starts with one tempo and jumps into something different.
  I liked the sweet voice of female singer and beat programming in the begining of Santhipo..
  
  It's a refreshing Listen.

  The Songs are good. Espcially "yedho yedho" AR has proved he can always give good melodies tooo. The only songs that makes u fee bored is "oru nandanirrunthal". In short, its worth every penny u spend for listening to this songs.

  The reviewer is clearly Biased, why else would anyone start of saying arr is gone when reviewing an album? still worst is that he has mentioned nothing in detail nor pointed out whay is wrong, his sole purpose seems to be to degrade Rahman.

  'Enakku 20 Unakku 18' - (Nov 6th, 2003)
  'Unakku Enna Aaachu' Rahman? That's the question after hearing the cassette.

  It's gone. The music's gone. He's gone. The man's gone. After hearing his genius producing excellent pieces in 'Jeans', 'Sangamam', and others, you wonder whether it is the same person who has come up with 'Enakku 20 Unakku 18'. A R Rahman's second 'youth' offering, after 'Boys', disappoints.
  
  
  
  
  The first song 'Azhaginna Azhagi' begins with a bang, and you think that it is some kind of fast, peppy number. Alas, it is a 'Tak Din' song, the beats rhythmic and continous.
  
  From beats, Rahman moves to 'happiness'. The secong song 'Santhipoma' has a happy, pleasant feel in it. Unni Menon sounds good.
  
  'Strictly for u'th', screams the tagline for this film.The 3rd song symbolises that. You have Blaaze shouting/screaming something. What do words, so-called lyrics like 'Gama Gama', "Bling Dinga Long' mean?
  
  With disappointment and hope, you play Side B. The first song here 'Oru Nanban' starts beautifully. Seems, that in this song ARR was confused, thought of making it slow, Carnatic but ended up with a pacy, normal number. SPB Charan here is okay, but nothing like 'Alaipayuthe' or 'Boys'.
  
  'Yedo Yedo' is the best song of the film. It has a haunting, melancholic feel to it, probably depicting separation. It sounds somewhat like 'Udaya Udaya' in 'Udaya', though.
  
  The last song is 'Asathura', a typical college song where boys go behind girls, singing loudly, describing their beauty. That type of song which you've heard a thousand times before.
  
  Verdict: The well-known 'Rahman Rule' holds good for this film too. You hear it again and again, only then you may like it.

  Difenetly the Audio isnt as great as BOYS..Thats for sure...for me,when i play the cd,i will hear the 6 songs,then i will change the cd to Tehzeeb,but as for,Boys,that cd,i will be listening to the songs for the whole day!
