Yeah the lyrics pointed by Ferari looks odd
From the whole song,can we not guess the situation?,its SJS singing for Simran(who is pregnant)..that is he respects his wife Simran (who is going to become mother of his child)as his Mother itself at times...this track comes there..
So masakkaigal mayakkam kondu
(she is pregnant)
madi saayum vaazhai thandu" (she is madi-saanjing on SJS)..
Did you ppl note SJS calling here 'Niraimaadha nilavey vaa...'
And she calling him as her 'Thalichan pillai'

So, to sum up a pregnant lady treats her husband as her 'Mootha ' pillai...
Oru pillai karuvil kondu..oru pillai kaiyil kondu uravaadum....

VM may come up with totally different theory and explanations for his lyrics..though he is good lyricist,at times in cinema songs he 'Olarifies' at times.

I think VM commited a mistake while composing the lyrics. somehow these sort of things spoil the enjoyment while listening to that song

As curses says, the song does flow in the Telugu version. Enakkum telugu thellaedhu! Adhukkudhaan "sounds" betternu sonnaen.

I guess the excess love for his mother from SJS is because he is still a kid inside an adult's body (adhane Big's story). Apdi irundha, avlo chinna vayisile avanukku oru kuzhandhaiya! adhu romba anyaayam!!!! I shall complain to Krishnaswamy.

I was kinda disappointed when I heard the song in tamil... Because while I was listening to the telugu version just felt that it was a mother/son
sentiment song but it is more a husband/wife sentiment song...

And yeah, I also feel that the telugu version just flows better.
