I hope to get a list of everyone's favorites of the various MDs' albums. This can range from the very old to recent times.
For various reasons, I would like to exclude the following MDs:
1. Ilayaraja & Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy, for the reasons that they have been listed in many threads, and let's face it: almost all their songs are guaranteed to please at least a section of the TFM-DF posters. :-))
My own list of IR-favourites could easily be about 100!
2. A.R. Rahman, so that there are no controversies. :-))
That still would leave us with plenty of MDs: Eg. Datchanamoorthy and KV Mahadevan of yonder days, Shankar-Ganesh and V. Kumar of recent past and Vidhyasaagar & Deva of recent times.

Nov, Mannikka vendugiraen. Itho ithuvarai is a tamil title of a malayalam movie that somehow got in my head. The movie I'm thinking of is "Vaa Indha Pakkam" a Mouli directed film. Shyam did some decent stuff for other Mouli films as well, but can't remember any.

A big hit produced by S.A. Raajkannu starring Rajesh, Bhagyaraj as villain, and Vadivukkarasi as gasp! heroine. It had the song by Malaysia Vasudevan, "Nadaya Maathu".
Did Vijayabasker do the music for "Soundharyame Varuga Varuga", and "Thappu Thaalangal". Sorry folks, enathu ngyabaga koattayil pala oattaigal.

I dont know whether VIjaya Bhaskar has been mentioned. If he hasnt been, include "Mayangiral Oru Madhu" for him.
Ramesh Naidu did music for a couple of movies. ( Dubbed probably ). There is one song picturised on Suruli which was very popular - something like Konjam Odhungu, Naan THaniya Pesanum Unnodadhan. Suruli plays a eunuch in that movie.
