  Those songs were penned by Kannadhasan. But dharmam engE
  was one of the worst movies of Sivaji and was a
  big flop. The song, paLLiYaRaikkuL vandha
  is, of course, a very good melody. But it never used

  You should take note of the P Suseela songs of
  yAr nee in STS's site. They are wonderful
  songs. STS also has a very good collection of
  old S Janaki songs.

  I really love some of the songs of Vedha.. I felt he improved some hindi songs (Merugetrinaar) and Kannadasan helped him a lot. Particularly 'nAn malarOdu thaniyAga (iru vallavargaL)' and 'Naanathale Kangal (CID Shankar)' sound much better in Tamil.

  This should be a song saved in a song library as a reference for our current and future lyricists.
  What sivashankari wrote for 47 weeks is magnificiently simplified to about 47 lines and other than the ending the entire story is told to us in a efficient way.
  
  The way kavignar builds up the song is amazing

  and then he explains that she is pregnant

  I have a doubt regarding this song. '47 naatkaL'was not remade in tamil it was dubbed from telugu. Did MSV use the same tune in telugu or was it a different one??If he had used the same tune
  then kavignar must have written these excellent lines for a given tune.
  I have asked my telugu friends but most of them doesnt even know such a movie exists.
  Can someone clarify this matter?
  
  On a dangerous thought what if the song was given to oru current kavignars....

  It is indeed a great job by Kannadhasan in that
  song. It seems the movie was simultaneously made
  in Telegu and Tamil. I do not know anything about
  the Telegu songs. My guess is that the same tunes
  must have been used. It is therefore quite possible
  that kavinjar wrote the song to a preset tune..
  and that puts greater respect to his effort!

  sk i think it is a dubbed movie. I have seen the movie twice and the lip movements are
  very much noticeable. Saritha had given voice for jaipradha..can anyone guess who gave voice for chiranjeevi??(clue: he was also introduced by KBalachander)
