  the basic concept of this confusion(??) is this..
  there's advance bookin for the cassette at the theatres where Baba'll be released.
  u pay Rs. 50 and get a coupon.
  on 24th Jul.. u get the coupon redeemed for a cassette and an option of buying a ticket that can be used w/in the 1st 8 days.(ne day.. and u pay for the ticket)
  Coupon holders will have preference over the rest..
  The ticket and cassette can be bought w/o this offer also.
  Marketing strategy, nothin else. each theatre is given 10,000 units!! (i fear that i mite have quoted a smaller value than original no. of cassettes per theatre!!!)

  I dunno man this is the wierdest thing i eversaw in the world. You have to buy casettes to watch a freaking movie.Oh wait there is more weirdo than this. That is the Kiss-Ass_of_Rajini ppl like WN!Oh wait sir what do u know about marketing?This is a marketing move you say? and you compare this stupid scumbag masala movie with JurasicPark(1)?Did they say You have to buy the soundtrack of JP to come watch JP?   WN: I was misled by a yahoo news item Here's the link. It never mentioned the 8 days limit. IF that is true, then its ok, otherwise the tactic is unacceptable. But common sense tells me that Rajini cannot force people to buy cassettes.
