Sudhadhanyasi minus Ni2 plus Ni3 = what raga

My answers are,

Sudhadhanyasi minus Ni2 plus Ni3 = kalyANa vasantham (in aarohanam)

Sudhadhanyasi minus Ni2 plus Ni3 = kiraNAvaLi minus Ri2 plus Dha1.

but i feel kiranavali option better than kalyana vasantham(AAROHANAM = S G M D N S), since instead of "P", "D" is present.
I learnt about a new raaga kiranavali today:-)

but still i feel there shd be some raaga just with SGMPN3S in both aaro and avaro. Let's find that out:)

IR_Fan - KiraNAvaLi is a totally different raga - very few known compositions in this raga (Yeti yochana, Panchabhootha kiraNavaLim) - the aaro is keeravAni notes and the avaro is unique - it is Sa Pa Ma1 Ga2 ri2 sa. - the "Sa Pa Ma1" phrase is a typical kiraNavaLI phrase. (kiraNAvaLi is also the asampoorna mela equivalent of keeravANi - I would leave it at that) :-)

Ram, I feel that it is Aabheri based. I am not able to listen to the song now - but from what I remember, I think it is aabheri based.

Both 'sindhiya venmani' and 'oh vasantha raja' have anya swaras (like Ni2, Dha2). But the base scale is Sa Ga2 Ma1 Pa Ni3 Sa.

So both are Srothaswini.

IR_fan - I think I am wrong. In the phrase "muththu radham pOle sutri varum peNgaL" - there is a strong flavour of SB. But the song uses the notes of vahuLaabaranam entirely which is "Sa r1 g3 ma1 pa d1 ni2 sa"
