:-) Sindhuja, this is actually four much. Ennai oru 'thollai'nnu sonna mudhal penmani neenga dhaan. Mikka nandri.Naan chumma lighter vein'la post pannikitirundhen :-). Indha vilaiyaattai idhoda niruthikuvom. Kadalai is one of the least priorities in my life anyway.

Aatama paatama - Nadigan - Lot of anya swaras, cannot be named Shankarabharanam.IMHO.

Paaku Vethala - shud be Shankarabharanam. I will confirm.

I am sure abt Nadigan song. Lot of anya swaras. Abt 'my dear maarthandan' song, i feel it shud be Shankarabharanam.Will confirm it. But as u say, they are quite similar.

IR_FAN I think I have struch bull's eye in another song in the same film(friends)...it is pure AHIR Bairav(hindustani version of chakaravaham)...the song is "Poongatre"(remember "ullathil nalla Ullam" in Karnan:-)

1 Adhikaalai nerame (Raadhika and Pratap film)

2 O Anni(title song of serial Anni)-sorry this is not TFM, it is TSM:-)

1 more query:
we know Hindolam and Chandrakauns to be similar with all swaras except the Nishada.

Similarly what is the corresponding raaga for Suddhadhanyasi(has N2), so this raaga should have all the other swaras as SD, but N3 instead of N2.
Also some compositions in this raaga, i have heard very few. Can anyone help pls?
