A little knowledgeable fan of music will easily identify the subsequent beats of any IR song after the first few words. His beats are the most boring and routine.
Frankly it is most amazing that his songs appeal to some people, given the monotony and non-imaginative nature of his songs.

Whenever I listen to IR, I need to smoke hashish to have psychedelic experiences, and then I play the music backwards to hear if there are any secret satanic messages.
I think it makes IR's beats more interesting.

At least you have that.
When I listen to ARR music, my taste buds get killed instantly with no hope of being salvaged.

tranku, don't talk of YOUR experiences with YOUR mother here. TFM page is not a dirty page in spite of some discussions on IR.
Your dirtiness is because of your exposure to the dirty music of IR.
IR's monotonous music is not a big danger, but the dirtiness it causes in the minds of the listeners, now that is deadly - as proudly exhibited by tranku and his likes.

Well, ain't that ironic!? Mr./Ms. Outsider blames IR for throwing in jack-ass cheese in his music, but he/she just added some jack-ass cheese in their discussion! LOL!! (No comment on Ruben's postings! It's all donkey jack-ass cheese!) :-)

Au contraire, Mr/Mrs Purv, those were the topics of actual post at TFMP, so all donkey cheese are courtesy of psychedelic IR fans who originally posted those threads. :)

One of the mind blowing percussions I ever heard is from Asaiya Kathula Thoothu vittu. HAUNTING, and not just because of the picturisation!! The rhythm selection fits the situation to a T. The type of beat is perfect and not overdone.
Of course, Raja Rajaadhi in Agni * had only percussion. The interludes composed only with beats were excellent.
Others great ones:
Thamdhana Thamdhana - listen to the prelude..electrifying!
Aadu poongodiye, vilayaadu poongodiye - I love the way Malaysia Vasu belts out this foot-tapping song with his rollicking voice!
Aimbathilum aasai varum - nice TMS number, usage of rhythmn is modulated to suit TMS style. Merges nicely.

Iam just listening to 'Aasai nooruvagai' song from Adhuthavaarisu. Wow!!! Such flamboyance in the music, beats ,MV's aggressive way of singing to suit the style of Rajini.

There wont be an end if we start listing our random selections. However the topic has been well covered in this great thread(also has IR's innovations with strings, flute etc). I enjoyed this lengthy read in one sitting(also amazed that many now sober DFers were tuition students of Mike Tyson in their prime!)

One that got away - Yenthan nenjil neengatha from Kalaignan, KJY scintillates in most of his percussion oriented songs.
The multi-avatarred creator of this thread may get some enlightenment from this link, it wont gurantee him a brain but will cause a few streaks of sense to momentarily appear in the vacuum between his ears :-)

"yengayoo ketta mari irrukae"... Iam sure all the songs in julie ganpathy are recylced from his old songs...

it will be a mundane thing, anyways i dont mind sending you "summer of 42" from which mounaragams background score during Karthik - revathy romantic scenes was inspired/modified.

outsider - outcast .. haha brilliant.
IRs music may work on TV, movies, or village radio, but not on a dance floor, disco or niteclub.
Am I right or wrong?
