  Finally got a chance to listen to Ivan. The classical numbers are very good, Sudha Raghunathan is one of my favorites and IR has used her appropriately. I am wondering about how IR composes classical numbers - does he give instructions till the last note (even to seasoned classical singers like Sudha Raghunathan)? I will agree with Neel (in his review of Ivan @ TFM) that the other two songs worth listening are
  1. Appadi Parkarathunna (a little Karthik Raja-ish) but gets very interesting towards the end (2nd interlude esp.). Good lyrics too.
  2. Ulagame, Nee Manithanai - Trademark IR dark song. Neat.

  IR is dynamic composer ...sudha rnaganthan or bala muralikrishna or anybody ...he makes them sing exactly what he wants.....

  Nice to see you people react. But, these advices to me could have come little earlier in the forum in the form of advices to your mates. What to do? You look back only when some one hits you. You aren't bothered about your neighbour. Good. Be it.
  
  Some one asked me what's the proof. What better proof ddo you need that Baba Music thread. Your threads have not been spoiled even 10% of the what you guys did in that thread. My point is not that..I want you to realise this...have you realised that...I doubt.

  Carry on saying all u want abt how much u want us to shout or this is wat u want or stuff like that. Nobody cares a hood. We all know ur depth of knowledge in music appreciation. It was inevitably exposed by no other than.....URSELF! :)) We really thank you for it.

  Yesterday, I happened to watch 'appadi paakk(u)Rathunnaa vENdaam, kaNNaala thaakk(u)Rathu vENdaam' in some channel. I enjoyed the music, lyrics and the picturisation. If you carefully observe, what the heroine intends to say is 'appadi paakk(u)Rathuthaan vENdum, kaNNaala thaakk(u)Rathum vENdum'!!!!
