YSR'S NEW PROJECT'S...

well i heard that his next flim would be with vijay n priyankachoupra staring in it
and the cd's will be out in july
and another one with prabhudeva staring in it n this will out in june i guess...
well more to come from him n i hope that he make's it big....

  Whoever giv a hit doesnt matter... i still beliive the best melody of this year is "Enthan Vaanin Kadhal Nilave".. i wonder why it didnt hit the top of the charts. SPB sings with such a passion.

  I agree totally.
  The tune is very simple. In fact very common and ordinary. Its no different from the many melodies we hear these days.
  But SPB gives it a filip that only he can. The sincerity and honesty in his voice has to be heard to be believed.
  I think TI is the best all round album..but the best song no doubt is "Enthan Vaanin".
  This man is the best when it comes to singing from the heart.Any day.

  YSR rocks man. All his albums released recently are awesome man. He has done such great work despite being under time constraints. Hats off to him man.

  YSR has rejected the Parthipan Kanavu Project due to time restrictions as Popcarn, Punnagai Poove, Winner, Columbus and Geethai are all slated for release early next year.. The film has been accepted by VS now.
  
  AnbeSivam, the song is from Kadhal Virus. I didn't really warm to it that much.

  Mounam Pesiyathe songs seems to be well picturised. I too saw En Anbe song as well as Eh nanbane song. Both look very appealing.
  
  PLease post your review for PP soon man. I found the album to be totally amazing aside from some of the female singers in it.

  i feel mounam pesiyathe is very heavy and ysr has first time bought some pure rock sounds and thje song china chinnathai is more a rock song and the lyrics are good in kannil gandghamae , china chinathai, en nanbannae, i feel it belongs to the class of uyire, i have both these moves ina samedisc, only difference in uyire all classical and heavy songs, here there are some wrong ones too

  yesterday able to watched premier show AM at Colleseum Theatre in Malaysia with guested by Srikant and Gayatri, the movie was old story but good screenplay. the songs Poi Solla, eh nenje and manase are pictured well. BGM done excellant by YSR as father.
  
  I think the poi solla songs already hit in Malaysia. Everybody know that songs. in shop also the AM songs sell well.

  My comments on 'PopCarn' after first couple of listenings,
  
  1. Except 'Poovellaam paaraattum', other songs are not YSRish (Hello, People disappointed with MP, listen :-)))
  
  2. PooVaithta Poovil is a slow melody - great song - very well sung by Maathangi and ??? (Name of the male singer is missing in the cassette - Should be Harish Raghavendar or Unni Krishnan, Im not able to decide), However, This song strongly reminds 'Nee paarththa paarvaikkoru nandRi' - could be an inspriation / copy / whatever
  
  3. 'Yaen Isaikku' is also a very good number - as per the movie situation, its like a carnatic katchery song, later ends with a fusion kind of music (after first charaNam), Only sad part is, HariHaran 101% lacks sruthi, bavam or whatever you want to call it as - YSR could have used somebody like unni krishnan / rajkumar bharathi for this song.
  
  4. Poykkaal Kuthiraiyilee is an average folk song ... If he can't even come near his brother's 'thaazhamboo thalaiyodu', forget comparing it to his father's gramiya compositions !
  
  5. Kaathalaagi is a wonderful song and my pick of the album - SPB Shows the reason why he is considered the best TFM singer even today - azhaazha paadiyirukkaar manushan, The song situation (that I understand from the lyrics) is something like this - pirinthupona father and daugher meeting in a popcarnival and this song is played (probably in the background ?) when they meet ... I only pray to god that nasser does some good picturisation for this song !
  
  6. Amma Ingee is a bit song - mohan lal's voice is very funny ... hahaha !
  
  7. All songs - Lyrics by Vaalee - Decent job for 'Yaen Isaikku', 'Poo Vaiththa Poovil' and 'Kaathalaagi' - Other songs ... avar vaalee illai Jollee !!!!
  
  8. Overall, A very good effort by YSR, But it could've been better !

  Thappaa purinjukitteenga, I like MP a lot and listen to it quite often, But a few fellow DFers commented that its too noicy or something like that ... Thats why I wrote that line !

  I agree with you that YSR is bt. Good and Very Good, But is he another Vidyasagar, Hei, Tell me - When is the last time VidyaSagar produced six albums continuously bt. Good and Very Good ? That too in such a short span ?
  
  I feel YSR is different from other new comers, because, he is able to give variety in his albums (not just songs) - Consider PKP and Nandha For example - I don't think any new comer in todays TFM has handled such varied kind of movies successfully (Again, I am talking about whole albums, Not just songs - Vidyasagar is not a new comer and Bharadwaj can come close with one odd 'PaNdavar Boomi')
  
  Ofcourse, That doesn't hide the fact that YSR is slowly becoming repetitive (Not tunes, But the style - Same was commented abt ARR songs also !) thesedays - Listen to 7 different kind of songs in PopCarn and then the usual YSRish 'poovellaam paaraattum' - you will understand what I am trying to say !

  I feel that YSR has made the same error that he is making for many of his albums. He has used the wrong female singers again.PopSHalini should not have featured on this album at all. I can't bear to hear her songs in Pop as it is, and YSR is forcing us to hear her in a big budget movie like PopCarn. Also Vasundhara Das, should not be on this album! YSR has used many new singers lately but none of them have hit the mark. Shalini is bad, Prasanna is worse than that, Popshalini is terrible and the less said about Vasundhara the better. I don't know what has happened to YSR's taste letely. On this album only Sujatha and surprisingly Mathangi have turned out well.
  The songs are good but YSR needs to spend more time and give more consideratoin to the female vocalists that he uses.
