Kovil by HJ

Saw the trailor this morning of KOVIL...first impression , for a change the songs sounded genuinely folkish..but none of them were catchy hearing the first time .May be once the full version comes out it would be differrent. Any idea when the songs are gonna be releasing?

  i watched the trailor today and well this one seems to be 50-50 chance of success or failure.chance for success becuz its hari and the trailor didnt have chimbhu doing n e thing stupid and songs.chance for failure hari might have run outta ideas,cuz i saw the picturizations and the collegiku povam song seems like the Veppamarum song(picturization) and the Kokku Meenai song is picturized like the Kalyana kattee song.

  HJ does have a style similar to ARR ,but quoting 6 second piece is not acceptable !!!!Goin by this ,IMaestro and ARR have copied a lot from Mozart and JAZZ a lot !!!!!!6 second similarity is defintely inspiratioN !!!

  yes guys.........i honestly dont ever think that HJ copies. These similarities most probably be inspirations or may be just coincidence. Lets not be so critical on him. This should not be an excuse for us (ARR fans) to bash him. We should not follow the foot steps of some IR fans. Lets maintain our status as ARR fans by not bashing any other composers.( Just a request).

  i heard just 3 songs from kovil.puyalae puyalae&collegekku...both seemed to remind us of some old pieces,but i can't locate exactly.
  kokku meenai is just in the style of kalyaanamthan in saami,both in composition(i.e,"unnai partha verkudhu"kind of lyrics as in the charanam of kalyaanamthan)&picturisation.i think that hj concluded that same formula may work out for rest of his movies like saami.
