  IMHO, KR has stuff. The songs from KK was not appealing in the theatre(may be the sound effect in that hall was bad). But when i listen that in
  walkman, i notice lot of good points in his style. He is trying a mixture of rehman's beats and IR's improvisation to establish his own style.
  
  Some of his melodies are really appreciatable. I like NathiyOram, Pandianin rajyathil and veesum katRukku songs. I like "kAsumEla" song from KK. In NINI, also he has done excellently. The BGM in ullasam is enjoyable. "Saravana bava" song also had come nicely. Udit is a negative point for KR's music. But music overcomes that. Udit's pronounciation adds fun to the "kAsumEla" song.

  I agree that KR has a lot of stuff. Apart from the songs listed by Mr. mannAru, the chap has shown signs of sophistication in his compostions. This is apt from the interlude of "unnakenna raasa" of Manicyam and the clarinet interlude of "aaj main khush hoon" of Grahan - one can look forward to a lot more from KR.

  KR is a like father like son of IR. He also makes the same mistakes.
  
  He must try a variety of native tamil voices (not Bhavatharini alone from Tamilnadu as IR does) and compose lyric based songs. He has to get his own style. He can get an identity as IR but his activities like (?)his Ananda vikatan interview boost up with Subbudu for his " fathers (?Symphony for HeyRam) music work" is all toooooooo much!! He must not repeat his fathers mistakes. He should sound humble and create something genuinely for Tamils from Tamilnadu in Tamil to make a mark. Otherwise he can atleast follow his succesful brother YSR in creating a ARR-Deva fusion success formula. May be he can try his newer concepts by he or his father producing new films to compose.

  I think KR's next Hindhi venture is sunil shetty, Aishwaria rai starrer 'Hum Panchhi Ek dhal hi'. Am i right?. The film is directed by Shashilal nair director of KR's hindhi debut film 'Grahan". The film was produced by rahul gupta. The production is now undertaken by Bharat shah. I am not too sure. But Aish refused the offer to act in the Coca cola ad along with Hrithik roshan 'coz of this film's shooting. I think KR does yet another hindhi movie. Any one having any idea? Btw. Nair has opted of the film Hum panchi Ek dhal ki after shooting nearly 75% of the film. Any one confirming.
