Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”
Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.
Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

curses...it starts at Discotheque..but there are some outdoor shooting as well...but i was referring to the Innovativeness anyway.....and the choreography is really good...
C!~P..dol dol is the BGM For maddy!..the title credit got another piece...which is very nice..

btw,the songs are super duper bombastic cool man!!i just lurve jana gana mana and sandai kozhi....n other songs are cool n funky!different beats ...nice to hear!cool!

I've been listening to AE & Yuva songs for some time now...juz waited to allow the songs to grow on me.Now am well prepared to comment on the songs:)...Well to start of...Thank Goodness...I didnt make my comments in a haste...coz tht "Sandai Kozhi" song when I first heard...I had a feeling tht I've never hated a song as much as I hated this one....But alas!!!This one is my fav. song in the album now....juz keep humming this song now....man ARR's humming in this one...is juz ..hmm amazing is not the word!!!
And "Nenjamellam"..is the song which I instantly liked....its still my fav....but then second fav. though!!
The rest are all good...no average or below average songs...but then still feel somethin' is missing(not tht am too good judging good music)...
But what surprises me most is me liking "Dol Dol"...usually I dun like this kinda music...but anyways..I keep smiling when I listen this track..dunno why????
And hafta mention tht the lyrics are juz awesome (in Thamizh tht is)..esp. in "Jana Gana Mana".In Yuva though..only "Khabhi Neem Neem"...seems to have some good lyrics.
Wanna mention this as well....been followin' this forum for sometime now....you guys are awesome funny...had me in splits many times....Can I join the club????

for normal movie screening the screen test wil be done one week earlier...but as this is for the AWARD FUNCTION the theatre management wants everything to be perfect and so they had the screen test one month earlier, in fact this is the Reel test according to my friend.....
