ROTFL..ZXCVBNMJHGFDS..wateva,
Pls learn to respect others before getting hurt.
Don't think you're such a smart-alex here. For every clever person,or at least trying to be clever, there's always a 10fold smarter adversary waiting for you.

R.S.Balaji,
Just look at the immediate post after yours. But you are smart enough to enjoy the works of the greats and not to be
intimidated by all these gypsies who just come in here and go by just like their adored music hummers who don't know anything
abt composing other than working from a pre-stored music box and trying out by errors the whole day.

Whatever differences of opinion, no civilised person would use a four-letter word in a public forum like you.
And that is the vast difference between you and civilised people.

IR - is the only MD dominating the Music Industry so far. Many un-identified persons got lift in thier life only becuase of him.( like Rajkiran, Udayakumar, Ramarajan, etc.) Many talented guys got life only because of IR ( Bharathi raja, VM, Mani ratnam, etc.) Until now, upto ThankarBatchan, he is giving lift to every one. He never went for a chance. Cine people are still behind for his chances. Now they came down to a level to get chances from his sons. Nobody can dominate the field as IR.

Magix, grow up, broaden your exposure to music (and some reality), before you make pithy one-liners. You might want to close your eyes to the fact that the last 2 commercial as well as critically appreciated hits in TF - Kaasi and Azhagi - came from IR.
ROTFL, I've been meaning to ask you for a long time. You haven't really experienced life in TN, have you? I might be wrong, just curiosity..

i've got news for u. tis forum is smarter than wat u've been thinking all tis while. its juz goes on to show how cheaply u've been thinking of them & treating them. they know wat u r & how u've been behaving all tis while. they know a dump chute will only get doses of trash.
with all your alternating sentiments and superficiality and trying to rope in votes, it juz goes on to show ur mentality.

ROTFL..ZXCVBNMHGFDS..wateva,
This is really funny. How big a loser are you? All this while you've been lingering around here bullying everyone and also rallying on IR's name negatively & indirectly. Now, you get bullied upon and you don't know what hit you. You don't know how to act or react. You are panicking. Hehe...Just saw you started a thread(with another name) based from other people's posts and did a 'cut & paste'. Is this how you have to vent out your disgrace and anger or your disatisfaction? Furthermore, at IR? hehe....grow up child :)
Oh ya, and one more thing. Since now you've realized that i'm not a Malaysian, its ok to still carry on being ashamed to be a Malaysian.

Sleeper Hits
By Moviebiz
'Sleeper hits' is a term used by Hollywood studios to describe low budget films, with little publicity and fanfare that go on to become super hits. Recently two Tamil films, Thankar Bachchan’s directorial debut Azhagi and Malayalam director Vinayan’s Kasi have turned out to be sleeper hits.
Thankar Bachchan ...the film’s cost shot up to Rs 1.5 crore. Thanks to excellent reviews in all Tamil magazines, the film is doing very well in interior areas also. Azhagi is likely to get a distributor's share of Rs 6 crore! Thankar as its distributor is laughing all the way to the bank.
When Malayalam producer Aroma Mani asked director Vinayan to remake Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum to Kasi in Tamil for Rs 1.70 crore, he did it. Mani was lucky to sell it to the distributors for Rs 4 crore, with a clean profit of Rs 2 crore. The film is doing excellent business in small centres and is expected to make over Rs 8 crore from Tamilnadu.

magix when i watched the movie Kaasi in theatre (thats the place where i heard the songs for the first time too) i saw viewers clapping and whistling during every song of the movie. This i saw after a long back - some "educated" crowd and "uneducated" crowd did same for Thiruda Thiruda; crowd clapping and whistling during the song "machchaan aaLaana naaL mudhala" for Kadhal kavidhai(a flop movie, otherwise). I never saw crowd got this much involved after Thiruda Thiruda, till Kaasi. The period inbetween has witnessed many Super Hits.
In addition to this, in Madras itself a few autowalas, many "bunk kadais" do play Kaasi songs even today. In the rest "insignificant part of Thamizhnaadu" also many places people even listen to Kaasi songs. Though, I haven't seen Azhagi i got the info from my cousins that none left the seat during the songs, in theatre (after 50 days of the release of kaasi). ofcourse the theatre is situated at one of the places in the "insignificant part of thamizhnaadu". But Azhagi songs are not as widely listened as Kaasi's. If there is any chance of even considering remotely the "insignificant part of thamizhnaadu"'s situation then we may have to term that the film Kaasi's songs are hits.

OK i still dont know if it's a hit.
I certainly havent seen ppl singing (or even humming) Kasi's or Azhagi's songs in my part of the world which is right where it's ought to be done!
