Vaanavil Talent Quest 2003

Vaanavil Talent Quest is a prestigious talent quest for amateur singers, with the top prize being a Kia make car. VTQ No. 1’s winner was Sheila Raman who got to sing a song under Bharadwaj in the movie Engey Enathu Kavithai. Bharadwaj was one of the judges of the finals.

Last year’s winner was Alinda Alphonse and she is expected to sing under Harris Jeyraj’s music, who was one the judges of the finals. She sang Rukku rukku rukku splendidly and was a good comedienne too.

Who will be the winner of VTQ 2003 and who will be the MD for the finals?
As usual we will have to wait for Tamil new year to know the results. In the meantime, share your thoughts here.

  Well, From what i see, Jeyasree deserved the 1'st place, Marianathan 2nd and Ganesan Rasavel 3rd.
  My friend said that Jeyasree is a gold medalist in thevaram.She really deserves it but i think that she is copying Bombay Jeyasree's style of singing.
  Did you guys watch the Tamil Thirai Isai Payanam on August 29? I'm really disappointed with the whole show!I don't know what happened to Suseela, janaki, bala...., because the songs sung by the back up female singers , really sucks! I enjoyed Karthik, Srenivas, suchitra, mano, T.R maharajan and chitra. The others are lousy!
  Baradwaj thinks that his music are great....but from what i think, only some of his songs are nice to hear, and that too, not always. S.A Rajkumar's music is far better than Baradwaj's.His songs are really melodius..example, etho ore paatu, mainave-mainave, maankuttiye, ennavo ennavo,Innisai padivarum, ...and many more. Baradwaj only gives dapanguttu songs, and he thinks O podu is the greatest song of the century! I hate that!

  By the way, in Paadal Thiran Pooti, i hate it when Jeya keeps saying "Kaathirekke Kaare, Vella porathe yaare"! I think it is better if he says " Kaathirekke Aruva, Vette porathe yaare"

  Yes. I am sat and slept together with Jeya. we know him very well from Uni.He is an average student with mouthfull of lauzy jokes. We are very much entitled to comment any music director. Even we open our mouth and comments the South Indian film industries can give us so much CRAPS.... Then you ask us to keep our mouth shut and no need to comments anyone ????????? Ok i have 1 questions for you.. Are you related to clownists at Astro???? Bcos you seems to be MBA (menthally below average) guys/girls... Even in the globalisation state u ask everyone to keep our mouth shut and just take it whatever people giv eus!!???? R u ok?!?!?   Indian will never stopped complaining this and that....yentha matheri patti padanloom athu ithu sollikitta than erupangga...Never ending story but erunthaloom para va ellai its only a individual comments.
  
  Jaya was not bad....still boleh tahan its only a very basis thinks for him standing in stage and become host. Rombo athu ithu comments solla kuddathe...i mean namme poye stage ler pesi partha teriyum athuodde kashdam...so jangalah pula terlalu over comments oranng jadi host....atleast dia ada chnace jadi host meh...

  I have no idea why people like u never admit when something that really went wrong on this kind of programme, which supposed be a prestigious issue for indian like us. I am believe Indian always stick on their mind that their community never come up bcos of their comments.
  
  As far i know no one in the world can come up without comments. Do yo always believe that we never come up ?? May at thispart of the world or more specifically at Malaysia ??? I am stayed at London for few years and for your information US, UK, and most of the EU contries come up due to the comments. Even u r Queen people there dare to give comments ? And y u know they can come up ??? They are willing to listen these comments and rectify the problems and improve everything possible to meet the certain standard...
  
  And you people here ( i am blv u all must under 25) never open ur mind to think globally to achieve something in everything... For ur information again we are paying for this channel !!???? Dont u think that v hv the wright to talk about it... And i m not going to blame u all bcos our county and culture brought up us such way to accept anything without commenting.. ex.whatever gov give us and taken awy from us we just need to accept.

One more question to you all...in the AVTQ2004 SMS contest advertisement 3 persons are acting to promote the competition.. Dont u feel irritatiing to their tamil slangs.. especially the boy who speaking from his nose not from the mouth?!!!! u wont blv how much lught and irritatiing and jokes we all used to have when watch that adv...   Oh GOD... Help our indian here to open their mind and look at the global and let them atleast think something out of their closed box brain... FYI.. if host only on the stage for read the written script means they are not outstanding people from our community. Even some one who just no how to read the sentences can be a host... Now i am know why all these hosts so clownists.. rather than smartiest... seee u people even dont know what r u talking about.... No. I want vanavil if they really look into the observers opinion like mine they can improve a lot.. and i am blv u also another pity indian who just said '' Hey if u complaint y u dont do the job ? Is that the correct way to throw the opinion from oberservers like us ??
  
  If Astro not interested to such opinion why they hv this site for ??????? U shld use ur small brn to ask the quest 2 ur self. But even Jeya read the script cant he contribute his own idea to improve the script?????? Dont u think so ??? Just the look enough to be host ???   Hi particia... Never judge a book by it cover. If he was a playboy.. I don't think he would have mentioned about his fiance in the program. In this world even married men are trying to act as single men ..among these people nakeeran seems like a gentleman to me.
