One Time Wonders!

Have you ever wonndered why there are so many one-timers in TFM? I have. :-))

It's amazing why some of the good ones are not sought after. I hope to discuss some of these splendid one-timers, both old and new, and maybe examine why they were neglected.

  Ramki :
  Sangeetharajan (or whatever he is called now) has scored music for a handful of movies in Tamil. They include (besides Poovukkul Boogambam) :
  * Salem Vishnu
  * 13 number veedu
  * Paattali Magan
  * Vigneshwar
  * Kaval Poonaigal, etc.
  
  Here are some of Devendran's other movies :
  * Kaalayum neeye Maalayum neeye
  * Mannukkul vairam
  * Chinna chittu
  * Ganam Courtar avargale
  * Uzhaithu Vaazha Vendum
  * Ore Rattham, etc.
  
  By the way, there was also an MD from Malayalam films called Ravindran (of HH Abdullah fame). He has scored in Tamil for films like :
  * Lakshmi Vandhaachu
  * Dharma devathai
  * Thaye neeye thunai
  * Kanmaniye pesu, etc.
  
  Murari has also scored for some more movies like :
  * Malai chaaral
  * Chinna marumagal, etc.

  That Pratap Pothen mayajala movie is "Atma" (based on Irving Wallace's "Miracle")
  
  Bhava:
  Carolene is also a one-film wonder, it seems...
  By the way, whatever happened to Anupama - she's not to be heard of these days !
  There was a singer named Saibaba who IR used in "Japanil Kalyanaraman", etc. He also is not heard of these days...
  
  Among some one-film directors, Bhoopathi (December Pookkal), Ganesha Pandian (Ore oru gramathile), D.S. Balagan (Mapillai Sir), Ananthu (Sigaram), etc. are examples...

  L. Vaidyanathan was also supposed to be the proxy MD for some Vijayakanth, Amala movie (the credits for music was given as S. Dhanu - who was also the producer-director of that movie !) Does anyone know the name of that movie ?

  Veenai Balachander has scored music for more than one movie. He introduced KJY in his film Nadu Iravil (neeyum bommai naanum bommai song).
  GNB acted with MS in Sakunthalai.
  One another movie by Kunnakkudi is MEl naattu marumagaL (Kamal, Sivakumar and VaNi Ganapathy)

  Bommai.
  
  Hari Mithali did another number in 'senogottai'under Vidhyasaagars music-the song is 'uchi mudhal paadam varai'
  
  LP did music for A SAthyaraj starrer(sathyaraj doube rule and the film was produced by AVM)

  Ulagam Pirandhadhu Enakkaga (Sathyaraj, Gouthami) was by R.D.Burman.

  Most of the lyricists in TFM are one-time wonders.
  Can anyone make a guess as to how many lyricists
  there have been till now in TFM? Thambi Bones has

  i can make an educated guess. anybody with a name like tamizhvendan, tamizhselvan etc, would have written atleast one song which featured in a movie. i would say atleast 400 odd one timers.
