  where groups of fans..let it be MSV-TKR, IR, ARR, or anyone else..there are a few jerks..but punishing the whole group for one jerk..is not worth the effort..
  
  i know..there are bunch of IR fans..who dont hate ARR for the sake of loving IR..they have been rational...and that's the case too with ARR fans...
  we admire IR..and his work is beyond human effort sometimes....but as this kinda jerks pop out once in a while...it really affect the "good" relationship which could have blossomed to something really useful

  How can we blame any music deirector for doing sleazy songs? It is the fault of the director and lyricist. They are the people who do commit the criem. MD's just put music to it. They are not to blame.

  How many splendid tunes of IR have been spoilt due to SJ's overplay of vulgar innuendos(Eg Ponmeni urugudhe). The responsibility squarely lies on IR. Iam now hearing the otherwise fantastic song from 'Oru odai Nadhiyaagirathu' 'En degam amudham'. How I wish, SJ had restricted her irritating display of erotic emotions !!!
  It is ironic that the same SJ had sung songs like 'Ponvaanam panneer thoovudhu' , 'kanavu onru thonrudhe' ,'Naadham en jeevane' with the required amount of restraint.

  now for SAM and Mythila,
  if ur not gonna blame the MD if u dont like these kind of songs then there is no point in appreciating him too on songs which u consider to be good. whether u blame or praise the full credit shud go to the MD. no body else can take up the responsiblity for wat an MD has done.
  and if ur gonna blame MDs for doing erotic nos. then ive got a couple of questions which ull find interesting to ponder over.
  1. can thirukural be banned cos it has kamthupaal in it?
  2.can we try demolishing our temples wherever we find an erotic statue?
  3.can we go ahead with burning the copies of meera bhajans and aandal thirupaavais cos they ve got some erotic verses which openly ask kannan to hav sex with them?
  4.can we ban ramayana for the sake it describes love making scenes of rama and seetha, or the mahabahratha for it explains in every detail the lovemaking escapades of krishna and arjuna.[one interesting point to note over here is the vainavites tried to symbolise krishan as the symbol of sex while the shaivites tried to make shiva the god of sex. when vainavites called his encounters krishna leela shaivites called it shiva pooja or aalinganam.infact the whole of kamasutra by vatsayana desribes the postures as done by shiva and paarvathi]
  5.can we banish the whole lot of shaivites who hav written and sung songs on goddess parvathi describing her total beauty in its nakedness?[ one good example u can listen to is frm the film Guna -Partha Vizhi partha padi... written by abirami pattar in 17th or 18th century

  the point i want to make is wat do we do with these songs. the bhaktha who is so much in love with god and goddess sheds all his limitations and goes beyond control in enjoying his god in love. this is the utmost form of bakthi.
  SEX AND GOD were two inseparable entities in our culture. they r not alien to us and we v been encouraging these kind of things all along our history.
  in fact i love the song paartha vizhi very much it was well rendered by IR and well visualized, picturised and choreographed no. look at the visuals when guna looks at her lover thinks himself as shiva and her as parvathi[abirami] building up the tempo finally embracing in the aalingana posture of shiva and paarvathi.

  Thee Thee is not an erotic song from its audio alone.
  
  It has erotic visuals(the video)! But thats it! It has no orgasmic sounds which plainly and outrightly suggest anything sexual!

  BTW just to clear up more.... When you listen to 'Maasi Masam' from Darmadurai you can easily sense the orgasmic sounds used in the Audio alone that suggests that it is a song for the front benchers!

  To the peace-flag holders!
  
  Do not consider me as a mudslinging faction!
  
  As much as I consider and worship IR as the GOD of Carnatic and WCM theme-writer in TFM I also feel forced as his fan to point out some ugly slip-ups in his music like his use of "Orgasms" and "Shrill Inadequate Choruses".
  
  I will however make sure that I dont pass a direct reference to him like a psycopath or anything like that.
