Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Wondering,it seems you not only have hatred on Rahman but on all his fans,and ppl who work with Rahman too...
  What's the sense in wishing a movie to flop,What's this cheap way of deriving saddistic pleasure by wishing a movie to fail even before its release, after release if you find the movie to be bad,then throw your brick-bats.I am left with no clues to judge your sense,its really wonder that you enjoy IR's music,when you don't have this basic sense too.

  athelaam irukattum. but 'Dol Dol' yenga innum kaanom? I guess MR made a mistake by not releasing the 'Dol Dol' trailer first. Other songs might be good but 'Dol Dol' is the one best suited for trailer. 1 min trailer la best impress panna koodiya chances 'dol dol' kku thaan irukku and 'fanaah' being the other. So, I dont understand why 'Dol Dol' is not being doled out till now.

  kokku saiva kokku wasnt that bad. but 'Oruvan Oruvan Muthalaali' was a great intro song for Rajni. and with 'Thillaana..' 'Kulu Vaaliley' 'Vidukathayaa' , Muthu was indeed a good album for a Rajni movie.

  AE's has got one more trailer apart from the three (one for each)
  'Hey goodbye nanba' with Trish and Sid romancing in sea side,running,rolling,Siriching..
  That was the one which was available in the website before it got updated.But that was awesome with its avid cuts and edits and those bluish visuals of sea side.I dunno why they removed it now.
  
  Muthu definetely qualifies as a good album for a Rajini film....
