  There are a number of rare hits that I could not upload before leaving US......
  
  So do not worry about the stuff.....now I almost have all the rare hits of Raaja....

  Thanx a lot! Waiting to hear all those numbers. BTW, I missed to thank you for the Ilamanathu BGM. What a mellifluous music! BTW, did u get 'En kannil' of 'Thambi Pondaatti', Roja Ondru Ullangaiyil Poothadhu, Roja Ondru Mutham Kaetkum Neram, Vaigai Nadhiyoram (Rikshaa Maamaa) etc.

  Manam thaavudhadi thavikkudhadi ... vaa vaa (SPB/SJ - I think from the same Rajini movie)
  
  3) Poottukkul Pottaalum - Chathriyan
  
  4) I believe there is one film, Jayachithra/Raghuman, came in 1992 or something, has a few nice songs.
  
  5) Poovodu Kaathu vandhu pudhu raagam sollith thara
  Aaraaro pattuch chaththam ange irangi vara
  Kanavum ninaivum needhaan aiyyaa
  Uravum uyirum needhaan aiyyaa
  Ezhezhu jenmangal thodarum sondham
  
  This is sung by IR (Shibu, u can do it!). Someone said 'Poruthadhu Podhum' as the movie.
  
  6) Do any of u have 'Edho Mogam' in good quality. I found them in a couple of sites (mailbag, gireesan), but the quality was not good.

  I am again wondering at the `telepathic' thoughts we both share time and again. In fact I was about to upload "ADuku malligai" from THANGA MAGAN as a high quality file on June 30th.... Here you are mentioning it at DF about the same song.
  
  I have all other songs that you have mentioned but for THAMBI PONDAATI and POOVODU KAATHU VANDHU song.
  
  A long pending request song at TFM, "Nenjame nee naalum kadhai ezhuthum kathaye kavithai" by KJY is also available with me.
  
  A lot of hit songs of Raaja during that period (75-80) has Malaysia Vasudevan featuring in them......Just awesome!!

  Hi MS,
  Heard the "Vande Matharam" song. It was very nice. But the quality of the song is only as good as 20Kbps encoding. Instead of encoding as "Sure Stream", you could increase the resolution to 32kbps or something.

  Shibu is able to play. I do not know what is the problem. It is probably net congestion.
  
  (I forgot to write this as soon as you reentered this thread. I must admit that you presence is inspiring. It seemed to be dead (for me) except for RB and Shibu (Murali - NOM to you, but I feel these two have done a great job keeping this thread alive). It seems RB had been waiting for you to come.   I myself know that :-) That's why I named my site as 'Yet Another Site for Ilaiyaraja'. I know I couldn't spend fulltime on this. Whenever I get time I visit this forum. Somedays I get lot of time, like today. Sometimes I do not visit it for more than a week (like last week, busy at JavaOne). I am just inspired by other webmasters to do something from my part.
  
  Expect a few goodies this weekend. (Dey Murali, commit pannikkadha-nu manasu solludhu. I will try my best :-)
  
  I also feel that I miss to appreciate the efforts of our guys time to time. I myself sometime would feel why no one is discussing on this new upload of mine. Then I would realise even the problems lies with me also. So no complaints.

  Don't feel like that. As for my part, I have listened to all your songs on the site and they are all very nice. You are doing a good job. I suppose the thing is that RB and Shibu are here so often and are always advertising the new uploads that it has become like a second habit to check out there site for songs. But I like a lot of songs from your site too. And I think you have the only site with the song 'Samadham thanthudEn' song on the entire net. You have no idea how many hours I have wasted looking through site after site looking for that song. And songs like 'naatupura paatu onnu' are really nice. I am waiting eagerly for the new uploads.

  'pootukkal pootalum' is available in Ramaswamy gireesan's site in IR's classics section, i think. in general, for any of u guys trying to upload rare songs of IR,i would recommend checking in gireesan's site. he had uploaded a lot of these songs quite a long time back. his IR 's songs of rare raagas have really some rarely found songs.

  Thanks for the compliments and let us all try to bring up the morale of all the fans who are visiting our sites. Without feedback/constructive criticism, all efforts are gone to the drain. So it is very important that people come here.....they need not shower praises... all that we expect is that how they felt listening to the songs.....what made them like those songs so much.......sometimes they have some constructive criticism like what Vijay had for me.....they are all welcome.... That is the way we can function as a community....."Raaja fans community".
  
  Well Balaji is now in Washington D.C and if my memory is right, he has a defense on June 28th. Until then, I do not think he will be able to even visit this thread.

  You are right......I am having big treat for all of you. What I am going to do is this. Try to upload mostly the old rare hits with some new rare hits in between..... I am sure most of you would not have listened to great great soothing melodies of Raaja in the 90s from films like ENGA THAMBI, SEVVANTHI, PON VILANGU, DHARMA SEELAN....etc....
  
  When I do upload some of the rare hits from recent films like that, I am sure many of you are going to be thrilled to that extent that you will be wondering, how come there was no mention about any of these films when they were released. Great songs and great melody.

  I would love to hear Pon Vilangu songs. Also there is one particular song in Enga Thambi, which I used to love very much. I forgot it now :-( No idea abt Dharmaseelan (Does it have some Allah song?). Ana, pls give priority to 1975-80 songs first. Waiting eagerly for 'Yaar thoorigai' and 'Vizhiyile'.

  This week, I will surprise you all with a 'gana' from an old IR movie. I wonder how this song went unnoticed in that hit film, whose other songs are very well known.
  
  Another song, had been discussed in different threads for IR's handling and SPB's modulations.
  
  Another song, less known melody, would be dedicated to the sweet voice of Jeyachandran.

  The song I was telling is 'Malayoram Manguruvi'. 'Mane maragadhame' is cool too! Pon Vilangu I am yet to catch the tune, though I am sure this is the song.
