Her voice is ok ,but lot of time she sings flat note and also should pay more attention to Sruthi, lot of times she loses Sruthi also
And has a long way to go to be in the top 10 race

Bhavadharani's singing leaves a lot to be expected. But I think her humming sounds very good.
Esp in songs "ennai thalatta" and "Nilavin amuthu"(where she sings less).

FYI:
Bhavatharini is singing a song under Sirpi's Music
She is already started composing music for a TV serial.
She is going to do music for Revathi's film.

Bro Flifo
Singing and composing are totally different things
May be she will prove that she is better composer than a singer. In my personal opinion she still has to go a long way as far as singing is concerned biggest obstacle for her as i said earlier is Sruthi, she has sweet voice and all no doubt abt that but Sruthi needs to be maintained

My earlier posting was not a comment on Bhava's voice . It was reply for the "vaitherichal" statement made by Chandrakant.
Otherwise, I am on your side.
'Mayil Pola" song in Barathi just magical.

Bhava lacks 'Bhaava'. No body can deny it.
'Mayilpola'would have been definitely better with other singers as chadrakanth posted. Most of his statements are true. Why not consider? You want tfm fans to do 'archanai' is it!
FYI Fliflo are you posting doctor advice in this forum. I've seen your postings in other pages too, Please do not blindly boost up like paid servants of a family! Discuss music and attitudes for musicians.

Hey Mr. Veerbagu:
I don't think there is anything wrong in saying I like this song. Mayil Pola song, for me is simply beyond.
"You want tfm fans to do 'archanai' is it".

About Bhavadhaarini's voice... I think she's got a sweet voice, but it is expressionless... I mean whether she's singing a sad song or happy song, she always sings it the same way. Another thing is that her voice sounds a bit too shrill... it would only suit actresses like Laila... it would definitely not suit actresses like Aishwarya Rai, etc. Ilayaraja has to keep that in mind when using her voice in his albums.

Bhavadharini's singing is superb in "Mayil Pola". Sweet or otherwise is not my concern. I cannot believe that the song would have sounded better if anyone else - be it SJ, PS, KC or the imports -had sung it. For the sheer simplicity of the song and the rustic flavour that Raja has infused it with, the song and Bhava's singing are made for each other.
By the way, I think IR is smart enough to know whose voice to use for a given song. That should rank as the understatement of the century. :-)

'Mayil pola' really suits Bhava. coz' the song will be sung by a small girl (and then the boy) in the movie. Bhava has tried a novel voice in Thendral Varum (FRIENDS)! Has potential.....

Excerpts from The Secret Power of Music
by David Tame
To the question, "Does music affect man's physical body?" modern research replies in the clear affirmative. There is scarcely a single function of the body that cannot be affected by musical tones. The roots of the auditory nerves are more widely distributed and possess more extensive connections than those of any other nerves in the body. Investigation has shown that music affects digestion, internal secretions, circulation, nutrition and respiration. Even the neural networks of the brain have been found to be sensitive to harmonic principles.
. . . music affects the body in two distinct ways: directly, as the effect of sound upon the cells and organs, and indirectly, by affecting the emotions, which then in turn influence numerous bodily processes.
Dr. T. C. Singh, head of the Botany Department at Annamalia University, India, has conducted research into the effects of music on plants. He discovered not only that constant exposure to classical music caused plants to grow at twice their normal speed, but also went on to find what seemed to be one of the main causes of this accelerated growth. In his experiments, the violin was found to be one of the most life-enhancing instruments of all.
Yet, perhaps the most interesting and significant of all of Dr. Singh's findings was that later generations of the seeds of musically stimulated plants carried on the improved traits of greater size, more leaves, and other characteristics. Music had changed the plants' chromosomes!
To listen to Handel's Messiah is not to debate intellectually about religion; it is to feel and become one with that surging inner flame of devotion. . . . It is the essence of this state that enters into us, tending to mold and shape our own consciousness into conformity with itself.
I think I am on the right path. My emotions and physical feelings are felt by millions worldwide for centuries. If Veerbaghu can not feel this then there is problem with the music he hears or with him. If he can not feel at all, it is rather he must go and check his ears or his mind to a good physician. Otherwise, try to change the music what he is hearing.
Veerbaghu, I pity for your health. But try to hear Raja's music, your problems might be solved..
