  IR is a psycho patient. He underwent treatment in Columbus Hospital. Still he has not recovered fully. Sometimes he talks idiotic. recent example is 'wasting his life in TF for 25 years'

  There is no argument that why somebody is an ARR Fan.
  Most of the DFrs here have aggreed upon that ARR is 'ARR is a legend in his own', I too do the same way.
  But what I feel the worst is Comparing The Born Genius with the Legend. IR is the one who gave music to the common man. How old do you think I am. I am not too old than you. I have heared all the songs of ARR. Infact I love his composition in Rangeela, Thiruda Thiruda, Duet, Kizhaku Cheemiyile, Karuthamma, Bombay.
  But man! there are thousands of numbers by IR which sometimes brings me tears, make me sleep, make me emotional.
  There is no reason ARR can be compared with IR.

  Please tell me how many CD's and cassettes of IR have u heard in ur 20 years of lifetime.
  Tell me how many Rehman songs will last long.....
  Calling him a Sound Engineer is not at all wrong
  coz he does sound engineering.....
  On the other hand IR writes every single note that is recorded in his songs as well as rerecording.
  In the last 9 years, from when Roja was released,
  tell me how many everlasting songs ARR had given.
  He has the trend with him..... he survives.....
  But he has his own way.... he doesnt copy anybody... that's the secret of his success.......
  FYI
  IR had composed more than 800 movies in thge span 15 years
  I doubt ARR has done 100 yet.....
  Please dont compare a born genius, Ocean in music with a legendary cyclone..........

  There are more important things in life - like attending to your bathroom urgencies, eating, sleeping and above all enjoying other pleasures. Amongst all of these, why do ARR and IR bother you so much, and why do you have to keep yaking this all your life? If you guys really know what music is, why dont you compose one your own so that we shall all listen? Does your job bore you so much, or do your wives dont give you any pleasure at all that you have to throw your grievances to a public forum targeting someone totally irrelavant to our basic living?
  Grow up guys, and attend to your jobs. That pays you, not this.

  I have both Karuthamma and keezhakku cheemayilae.. I am sorry to say that they are not as melodious as any of IR's albums. I have listened to many film songs in multiple languages, though I understand only telugu , only IR's songs are melodious in all the languages. I hate to disappoint you but ARR has at most one song in 3 movies which can be termed everlasting or atleast melodious.
  eg
  Poralae ponnuthayi in Karuthamma is ok , though the tune is very weak, he tries to cover up with music.
  in keezhakku cheemayilae
  Aathangare marame is good , not melodious , just good orchestrization.
  
  Take the solo song by in 16 vayadhinilae , that is called a melodious song, it has stood the test of time. My heart gushes with a heavenly joy whenever I listen to the song.Take the song Poongodithan poothaadamma in Idayam , magnificient song.Or Ninu kori varnam from Agni Natchataram , hasn't died out of people's hearts , everlasting evergreen melody!.
  
  A song is appreciated on merit of its tune as well as music. ARR songs only
  boast of modern orchestrization, true soul gets lost and the tune takes the back seat, not a good sign if the song has to stay for a long time.Hope you understand these subtlities, I am just presenting facts and am not criticizing your taste.

  Nothing can equal IR's melody! Karuthama does have some good songs, and Kizhakku cheemaiyila also have nice songs in them but they are no match for the class of Thalattudhae vaanam or Om namaha- idhayathai thirudadhae or Pottuvecha oru vatta nila - idhayam or Chinna thai aval- Thalapathi or Ilaya nila or thulli ezhundhadhu paatu or....................

  The list is bigger than ARR's total number of songs he had composed in the last 10 years.....

  Y compare ARR and IR
  Y compare Rajni and Kamal
  Y comapre Maniratnam and Balachandar
  Y compare Java and VB
  Y compare Idli and Dosa
  These are all not meant to compare, These exists to make you happy, and if you are enjoying only IR music, then u r a fool, u r missing the other half of the fun, and if u r only enjoying ARR music only then u r a idiot, because if u don't enjoy IR music, u need not live ...

  Whom to listen and whom not is and individual choice. Some like Idly. Some like dosa. When you go to a restauran, you mostly order either Idly or Dosa. If you order both you don't have fun rather you may spoil your stomach. For some dosa is oily and give problems and for some Idly is tasteless. So people go according to their taste. Their physical and mental conditions. There is no specific definition for fun. Advising this is fun and that is fun is a real fun. No offence..Just for Fun.
