  People who criticised vairamuthu when he was with ARR are surprisingly happy for the reunion of IR and VM. IR need not join with VM to prove who he is. He already proved well. No real music lover can raise single question about that. It is good that old friends reunite again. But by going with the facts, as a (normal) IR fan I am not expecting magic from this reunion. Let us wait for the output. We should really appreciate if they do well. Hope the best.

  I fully agree to you, I too don't expect any magic from IR - VM Combo now ...
  
  But still its a good news. Who knows, IR may talk to VM and make him STOP writing KOLAIKAARA lyrics such as 'uyirodu ennai nee thinnadaa', 'uyirodu ennai ulaiyil eetRinaay', 'kozi rusiyaa irunthaa koziyath thimpaen, kumari rusiyaa irunthaa kumariyaith thimpaen', 'Dupattaavil ennaik katti thuukkil maattaathay' etc.,

  IR's reunion with VM will be mutually beneficial - only if each can inspire the other to rise to their potential. The excitement among the fans is based on earlier achievements by the pair. Hope they can revive their magic.

  Agreed!, there are few annoying IR fans. But there are 100 of IR fans like me who just read and post decent stuff too. (I have posted some ARR news too). DONT people like dont catch your eyes.

  There are good ways to express your dissatisfactions. Not by sarcasm and ill willed messages.
  
  Not only you, there are many who just do post sarcasting message on IR fans for no valid reason and start a long useless personal debate.
  
  If IR fans goes overboard, thats his expression of taste, it need not mean to be a fact. Unless he refers another MD in bad manner, there is no need of any flame post.
  
  Just be cause in some thread, some ir fan called some IR fan by name, doesnt mean you or RO#%#&#* have to post some junk in this thread and start silly debate.
  
  And dont blame your indecency for other indecent IR fan's post in some other htread.
  
  You can always keep away from threads marked 'IR'

  Jus cos HCIRFs like cheenu, ravana, yaaro etc do not keep away from ARR threads doesnt give u a reason to butt into IR threads.
  Cos IRFans have their own rule in this forum. They r entitled to contradict themselves, call other MDs names, indulge in personal attacks, etc... but the rest of us lesser humans need to watch our step lest we disturb the mighty IRFans from their blissful slumber.

  First correct yourself than, trying to finger point others. When you find a bad post by IR fan give a fitting reply, you need not get to thier so called low level.
  
  Its has become a TREND now to give LAME reason on some IR fans and post any indecent post they want,
  stay a secular.
  
  If anyone pinpoints some aspect of IR's music and IR's act on some thing. I am ready to listen and argue. But, IR topkku vandu kizhipara ..kind of comments takes us no where, that too even before any one is offended in this thread.
  
  The reason originaly i came to this thread was to say the poster that we have had suchkind of breaking news that fizzled so many times. There is nothing wrong in saying that, but need not irritate others.

  I have seen MSV fans in this forum, who have said, its IR who overbook films a lot at a time without ethics and saw MSVs end. If you want i can search and show it to you. WHAT do you say about that?.

  I did not expect any sensible rebuttals from my postings any way. It is amusing to see Ilayaraja Fanatics clamouring to be abusive of me but not one could say, "why IR should aim to be top? he is already on top." Funny isn't it? :)
  
  What this means is that it is an accepted FACT (by the IR fanatics as well) that IR's days in TFM are over!
  
  As for his reunion with Vairamuthu, I don't know who pollutes who, but Ilayaraaja's songs turned for the better with Vairamuthu entering the scene in the early 80s. (Remember the pre-Vairmauthu junks of orampo, etc.?)
  
  Needless to say, I can expect more tirades, but Unmai Eppothum Kasakkum!

  I am not endorsing Gowri, no jalra or ROTFL.
  I am telling them to keep away from IR threads and behave themselves. Cos like u guys rightly pointed out, it's very hurting to IR fans when they make such pointless statements. However when IR Fans label ARR's music as garbage, recycled, "Ran out of inspiration or western track", etc we ARR Fans can't help blushing from delight. How flattered we feel tat u the great IR Fans r actually taking notice of our pathetic ARR's songs and actually investing time and energy to make comments on it. Woweee! Tis is great! Tis is the IR Fans' exhibition of love (not hatred)..and truth (not sarcasm).
  How can I point fingers at others?? When did I point fingers at others? Do u find me in those ARR threads giving endless lectures to Ravana, Cheenu etc about unity in diversity, bringing back quality to the forum, the need to remain indifferent to ARR bashers who start the ball rolling etc? Of course not! How can I even dare to imagine doing a thing like tat. After all I am jus another pathetic ARR fan not qualified in any way to judge others whereas the all-informed all-knowledgeable Great IRFANs remain entitled to correct me, point fingers at me and lecture me on my ignorance, stupidity, lame excuses etc.
  Please correct me further so I can drink from ur fountain of knowledge, and quench my thirst for the wisdom of IRFans. Tis is making me brighter by the day. Soon I may even rise to the status of becoming an IRFan (oh, dare I imagine!)...
