  Speaker,
  
  When you read Censor board cuts it is quite obvious to you that they reveal something about a film. So if you have not watched the movie you ought not to read it. How the hell do you expect Censor board cuts to be?? I myself have not comprehended anything about the film's story just by reading the cuts.
  
  But a review is diferent. It is something that people read before going to a movie.

  Bala and Poor Guys,
  
  Mani always recognized and appreciated IR. I saw one of his chat material recently(may be before 3 to 4 months). In that also he praised IR and said that even now, I would love him to do the score and watch, if I get a chance(Not that he will go behind IR, but he loved working with him).
  
  That way Mani has always been open in praising IR and he had no doubt about IR's talent. Also once he said, IR is proflific where as ARR improvises great. I work like ARR, but would like to work like IR.
  
  MR will not go to IR(IR also may not accept MR, just like he did not accept Rajini for Baba). But atleast IR could create one good director like Bala, who deserves every body appreciation.

  But BR will come anytime to IR. It is only IR's choice not to work with him as BR's choice is always VM.
  
  They are early life friends before becoming Directory and Music Director. IR knows BR's mother and came rushing whe she was dead. IR and BR has that kind of connection.
  
  KB, well will not probably make any more movie. Even if he make, he will not go to IR.

  This kind of work from IR only keeps his fans hope alive. When we are thinking he won't make a comeback, there comes the king with excellent BGM after 850 movies.
  
  This guy has real funda of music or else he can't do this after such a long spell.

  IR tried to go western and got flopped hence sitting at kodambakkam and serving the tamil music but ARR was able to go england. THAT simple.
  like thangar bachchan ran off from IR the day is near for BALA to runaway from him.
  It is not IR music but his behaviour that made all to run away from him.
  try to differentiate.
  IR music talent is really appreciable.

  Well this week's Kumudam reporter says that ARR is loosing grounds here and hence he is running for other ventures. so you have a point.

  Ilayaraja has composed music for 850 films?? Woow...that is great..
  but then...out of 850 * 5 songs,I suppose there should be around 800-1000 songs which are really good ,rite?
  
  But then,there are so many songs which are not good and pathetic...I just feel that raja is capable of much much more and he is not putting enough effort probably because of lack of interest or something..

  I was thinking Anbe Sivam, is the best movie I have watched so far in recent 3 years, after Sethu. But Pithamagan, proves, the best and it sets a new path for the tamil movies. Maestro, Vikram and Bala team once again proved they are the Pitha Magans of Tamil cine field. Soorya and Laila are real surprise in the movie. still, Ilangaththu - is rewinding in my mind. Vikram, Bala and IR gave the best Diwali treat for me. I am sure this movie will rum more than 100 days and it will get awards for Vikram, Bala and IR. (For IR, doubt, as he was always neglected by the award comittee. The reason is Gnani's cannot be awarded by ordinary men).

  The review is by an ARR fan obviously.
  
  He wants to have an opinion on his own. the knowledge that he has displayed in analysing the movie graphically is absent when it comes to BGM.
  IR does not need certificate from upstarts like this Senthil. Every review has raved about the BGM quality which is truly of international class.
  
  this review is best ignored.

  In "Sahaana' serial, Sindhu is shown to possess IR's CD among other musical doyens like MS's in her CD rack. I doubt if KB would have bad mouthed IR in public. Like in politics, there are no permanent friends/foes in cineworld. Most of the tiffs are due to ego clashes AND clearly market forces determine the collaboration.

  In Puthu Puthu Arthangal ,KB had used IR's previous BGM's without this consent as theer was a industry strike at that time ...IR apparently did not like this

  In one of the earlier episodes of 'Sahaana', there was a beautiful song. Listening to the song, I had a strong feeling that it was not from the TV serial music directors. At the end of the episode, I got the answer.. "composed by IIR.."!!

  If the blame was moved to the directors then technically what ur saying is that any bad song is a result of the director and not the music directors which would realli be false. I think bad songs help directors once in awhile,cuz then they must rethink the way they compose u kno?like in the cases of ARR n IR.

  After the lull Ilayaraja underwent, it was a chance for him to set right things with "Pitha Magan"
  But he squandered this golden opportunity by composing Mediocre and insipid music. The movie itself is not class. Every body overacts and the situations are very much contrived. The characterisation of Surya is mediocre and does not evoke any interest. the picture is generally very loud in all respects.
  May be it is good for the "Andipatti" type of movie goers!

  Why do you people mad abour IR and ARR. Look at our DINA in Thiruda Thirudi, he has composed the excellent "Manmatha Raja" which IR and ARR cannot dream of composing such a vibrant music which celebrates youth! How about the real music Maestro
  Harris Jeyaraj ? Did he not do well in Kakka-Kakka ?
  IR lied that he composed a classical piece at London. What happened to that composition ? where it was released ? No one knows. IR's days are over!

  KB still uses IR voice for the Thirukural(akara muthala eluthellam..) which plays in the begining of all his movie/serials.
