Dear Friends,
Let us vote for 'Adi Rakkamma' from THALAPATHI as our choice for the World's Top Ten Songs poll conducted by BBC!
I am suggesting this song because if in case the BBC people listen to the nominated songs, they will feel knocked out on hearing our Maestro's 150 Vioins' Strings Ensemble!
Let us all do it at:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/us/features/topten/
Yours Always Musically,
Vijay.

Profound..Oh!thanks!It was someone who broughtin the words such as Bush,Irish origins,Clinton. So my doubts about an international conspiracy to dump RKT emerged. All I needed was a confirmation from "thengai blah blah" alias"BBC Politics" (205.188.208.37).

I did some snooping around the net looking for dfs similar to ours discussing the ANOA by the Irish.
Here r some snippets:
"The BBC has been doing yet another one of its stupid "Top 10" Internet polls, this time to find The Worlds Top Ten Songs. Big mistake for aesthetic reasons, of course, but also open to manipulation by small countries with a high capacity for networked collective action. In a move that captures the national character perfectly, Irish students emailed everyone they knew and told them to vote for A Nation Once Again, an old nationalist standby.
......
Frankly, I hope it wins. As anyone Irish will tell you, there's something irresistable about the idea of hearing some plummy BBC voice being forced to announce that the most popular song in the world is `A Nation Once Again.'

If I vote it will be for Ramana! This voting business is getting me very paranaoid like OISG pointed out because of my intelligence. btw, i really don't find the last minute voting any credible after so much headway Rakamma had made. So people who are not IR fans can say any crap and get away with it. when such people scream next time abt being fair or when they behave as though they are fair, we will remember such stmts.

Well, well interesting to note how people conclude there is a strong correlation between the term "rubbish" and "IR's music"...what can I say? :)
And those preaching to me care not to tell off the one who started making the PAs. Which goes to show tat perhaps the correlation holds more secrets tat we may not have heard of.
Continue dear friends, ur posts r revealing the secrets slowly.
Yaaro, u still havnt explained to me wat u meant by "synthetic" and u have the gall to come here and preach to me abt wat I have said? Why dont u go back & read the statements u made to gain an insight on exactly how holy u r. Or do u admit, tat u were jus blabbering w/out any idea wat u were talking abt?

whoo...........WN didnt realize u were refrerring to others when u talked abt (a particular) HCIRF. so is it something like "when u feed ur brains wit rubbish for a quarter century by others, it will make people brainless & cowardly HCIRF"... great :)

btw, I'm not sure if anyone noticed tis statements by the Irish,
"Sure it is immature, but it is light-hearted fun. and much better than the hindu nationalist ballads and dil dil pakistan, I gave a listen to em and sounds like banshee howling. I kind of liked em actually, they were totally insane. haha But the tones are better so let's all not forget to stuff the ballot box.
It's kind of a patriotic chore isn't it? meaningless one, yet quite entertaining."
Wat do u think they meant by hindu nationalist ballads (notice the plural?). Looks like non-Indian must have concluded RKT was also a hindu nationalist ballad. (God have mercy on us!)

WN u should lick some irish as(h)s. look at those conceited people somethin says u ancestors were not apes but irish.....
last minute posting by the irish to win a poll which they can't stand to see being won by secular people of India when they beat their own christians to death. man, heights of civilization. thank god, the earliest civilizations were hindus and discovered only now by hindus themselves. I'm sure it is the BBC that is part of all this. I don't find even feature on Ilayaraaja, when they have all strange recordings, world top ten, from all over the globe. this shows the contempt those people still hold for anything that is superior than them. 'tones are better?!" I am sure when they are in a fa(r)t contest, their songs will be appreciated.. man, prejudiced cracks

WN,
So whenever someone makes a personal remark against you or provokes you,you will happily say that whatever IR produced for the last 25 years is rubbish and crap?Nice policy WN.
Have you heard atleast 15% of what that man produced, to claim that as rubbish?
As a regular DFer who critisizes all IR fanatics and sometimes ARR fanatics for their misbehaviour and Personal Attacks, i didnt expect this from you at all..:-(..
and BTW where is the tit-for-tat Are Yaar?
