I have few movies mentioned in other threads on YSR but where are the audio's? Have they been released? Such as for Nandha or manathai thirudivitay or Telugu movie? It has been a while since I heard YSR songs

I happen to feel that TI was YSR's best album to date. I was impressed with MTV but I don't feel that it was up to the standard of TI. I enjoyed the holiday Jollyday song as well as the first number by Sujatha immensley. I wasn't impressed with the Sadu Gudu song for 2 reasons, firstly the tempo was a bit too upbeat and secondly for the rendition of the female vocals by Bhavatharani. I feel that this was the maim let down of the album. Aside from that, the orchestation was good, the originality was there and YSR's unique style shone out.

Bharath,
Do you write kisu kisu in Tamil magazines? If you understand english well, I am not justifying anyone, but bringing out the best works of this so called copycat MDs.
I wud never support ARR's son Good. Give your opinion based on the merits of the album. Also a personal request. Can you limit your posting to few lines? (Just looking at 1 page posting, not many will even attempt to read!).

STS,
some how i prefer to consolidate allresponses in a single post rather than many small posts. i normally respond to nore than 1 person in 1 post which is why...
yes i used to write kisu kisu in tamil magazines..if that makes u feel superior. i am the kind of guy who wears a "manjai" shoulder bag and runs behind stars for quotes. i write the kisu kisu in varamalar. r u now happy ?
//"I wud never support ARR's son"//
is what is popularly called MISQUOTE
//"I wud never support ARR's son(in the future) just based on that qualification. "//
is called quote. u r on the road to become a kisu kisu writer keep it up!

Bharath, if you write the kisu kisu in Varamalar, surely you could suggest that there be more feature of YSR in the magazine? I believe tha if YSR got the same marketing as HJ, he would be a bigger star.
I am looking forward to hearing the music of Nandha and also Enna solla pogirai and I believe he will deliver quality music. I found MTV to be a pleasant album and I think it will pick up soon. Also his new improves TI shows his diversity of influences on his music style.

Kurumbo kurumbu,
YSR has great potential to become one of the best(if not already) in TFM industry. No doubt abt that. His music status is not exactly sky-rocketing.But,I'm sure with his potential he will get to a point where directors will go to YSR instead of ARR not for lack of money and/or dates.
ARR's career graph is different. In 1992,"He came,he saw and he conquered".:)The rest is History.:)

I got the cassette from India. TI still stands as the best youth album for this year, excellent diversity...from Heavy metal to Techno to jazz to india classical to dampanguthu...a great album...I am sure will move to top spot...I just hope that the director does a good job of picturization ...though I am very sceptical as the director is a not upto the mark guy..and these songs are too sophisticated for him.
All my non tamil friends who heard the numbers could not belive it was a tamil song and said if someone did not listen to the lyrics carefully they would have assumed it was an english album...echoeing my thoughts after my first hearing.
Kind of curious how Ithu Kathala , Knamunne Yethanai Nilavu has been doing in madras. Can anyone from madras do let me know if they play these songs in the discos...as I have heard that kasumela is a regular number in parties and sicos....and if anyone has sighted yuvan there? ...anyway would be happy to get some feedback from guys from India

MPR,
something is fishy about this whole thing...Why suddenly IR comes forward and does the BGM...and why can't YSR do?. YSR is the one who feels that he needs to prove his talents and should not be shadowed by IR's genius. IMHO there is something more than the news given in the junior vikatan.

I never said I do not listen to other's songs. I said that to change the common man's perception of YSR's music, and for him to get more popular, he has to give something more than his currect output. ARR built a certain image in a short time, and people are still sticking to it. For YSR, he has to break those people who are hooked to ARR. While YSR is different from ARR, he is still not so different that people identify him with a 'YSR school of music'. It is getting more crowded as Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and Harris J bring on their ARR-like music and become a part of the common man's listening practice before YSR can do something.
By the way, I listen to IR a lot. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Music Fan:
I dont kno whether you know me ...but Yenakku ungalai theriyathu...would certainly like to know you :)
MPR:
there are three new tracks in the album
1) 80s style pop song with great beats - a fun song..a duet
2) a classy musical piece(theme music I guess) with piano and drums rythm followed by a jazz piece.
3) Thee pudikkum kangal naan .... And of course cant really understand the rest of the lyrics as this is the Heavy metal number ....some excellent plucking and shouting...
UVII:
There is nothing sudden about it....and it basically is a fusion between the maestros....It does show how open YSR is towards learning from the Genius....a welcomed gesture....Like Karthik Raja if Yuvan is able to absorb the nuances of music from IR it will only benefit music lovers by getting more good music.
Cheers
