Guys,
7GRC's preview is coming on tv channels now. Yuvan has come up with a different theme music this time. Any thoughts?

I would like to agree with Vazhipokkan, there was a spate of reviews for a movie like New but there are hardly a couple of reviews for this.Sify says the movie is on it's way to superhit status, does that mean people who visit this site watch only movies like New,Boys etc?

Just saw the movie in Singapore Yishun 10 cinema. Fantastic score and DTS sound mixing by Yuvan and team. The whole movie is a treat for music lovers. Yuvan has really proven that he is truly raja's heir and we can be confident that he will contribute for years to come just like his father did for so many years,,,,,...and still making us all wait so eagerly for his TiS. Well done Selvaragavan for scripting the movie so wonderfully. Very sentimental ending...Alll should watch and support such good movies, so that more such quality movies will come in the future..

Ferrari,
Even I think movies will start getting released from this week, but i am not sure when 7/G RC will come here. After all the business prospects of this film in Bangalore is not much,Selva is not Manirathnam&Shankar here still, right??
BTW,are you going to chennai this weekend?

Selva right now may not have so much popularity but is sure to scale new ranges in the future. He
takes down to earth movies with interesting themes
and characterizations unlike the other so called
high budget directors like Shankar or MR.I thought
the domination of shankar and MR in the tamil cinefield ended with selva and Bala's entry in
particular.Haven't seen 7g till now but damn sure
it's going to be a superhit and proves a hat-trick
for selvaraghavan.

Another review.
Vch,
I don't remember anyone calling Mani a high budget director. He&Selva cannot be compared because their line of thinking as far as themes go are very different. Also right from his first film 'Pallavi Anupallavi'(I saw it as kid in the now defunct Shanthi theatre near Southend in bangalore&the film disturbed me a lot)Mani has come across as a very sensitive filmmaker. He never hankers for publicity, doesn't give outrageous interviews&generally let's his films do the talking. Also he has got a very good music sense.I definitely wouldn't want Mani's innings to come to an end.Bala is a very overrated filmmaker.Yes,he does have the passion to try different themes in his movies, but in the process he has fallen into a pattern of making morbid films. Also his execution needs to be improved&he is nowwhere near his guru(BaluMahendra).Selva is a good director,he knows his forte&works on it.if he can keep his head down,he will be remembered by history.

Truth I think there is definitely some 'sooothulakolaaru' in you. Don't come here and crop up with some wierd terms about YSR's music. He has done a superb job.......

Listening to the songs after watching the movie in the cinema.....even more fantastic this time around...Especially 'Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal' Karthik voice is superb. The picturisation was different and fresh. All should watch it in a cinema with DTS sound if possible. The sound mixing is very good. YSR's touch is truly something to rave about!

Mutamil,
Have you heard the BGM in Adhu, that guy Sulaiman .. who composed for Shock was awsome, it was his music & Paneer chelvam's camera, that made the film spooky!

I just saw the movie 7/G Rainbow Colony and ohhhhhhhhhhhh whatttt a movie!!!!.......its so natural,so very well scripted with excellent screenplay and amazingly real-life dialogues...the ending is what u must see and understand what the director has come to convey to today's youth......a story very well told....no one else has even remotely touched this subject.....if u have not watched the movie till now u have truly missed out something.....there are just two classes of people-ones who have watched 7/g and the rest of whom are going to watch it!!!
