I meant the movie 'eeramaana rojaave' itself; i'm not sure when the album was released. however, more than a year between the releases of the album and the movie is too long, dont you think?! this movie was not under any controversy ( no story.. no controversy! :-)). produced by kayar ( KR), so even finance is ruled out. i wonder...

I'm pretty much sure ramki. I've recorded bunch of songs in 1989. It includes Eeramaanaa Rojavey, MMKR, Kavithai Paadum Alaikal, etc. I still have the cassette with me. I'm not sure about the movie.

M: MMKR was released (movie) in late '90. I dont think the songs were heard in '89.
taling of MMKR, it has a song that's very much related to this thread! 'sivaraathiri.. thookkam yaethu?' i dont remember the lyrics, but am sure they would be quite seductive. can someone post the lines?

I think the first song was written by GA for Poonthota Kavalkaaran. I don't remember the name of the second movie. It starred Suresh and Nadhiya, I think.

that's a really "sexy" number, as all the allusions point towards erotic thoughts.

a very suggestive line.
as ramki rightly pointed out, there's mostly talk of physical description (that too, female) or "suggestivity", for lack of a term.
in karnan, there's this beautiful song "ennuyirth thOzhi kELoru sEthi", where karnan's wife playfully complains to duryodhanan's wife about her man.

his nephew panju has also proved worthy of his uncle. in "raadhE en raadhE vaa raadhE", some terrific lines:

actually, the whole song is like this, but these are very suggestive. certainly much better than 'maama maama' quoted above! ( I guess, this comparision itself is an insult to pulamaipithan, who wrote the lyrics!). Are you sure VM wrote them? Even otherwise, many times, VM tends to project men as rude&desperate fellas when it comes to love. I'll leave it at that, 'coz, I've too many complaints against this guy that it deserves a separate post!
