Which Album is Currently Rocking ur Country

In Malaysia,Udhaya Udhaya song is really rocking,OSAI - Astro,is playing the song 100 times,and i asked Mani Osai guys,they say Udhaya is doing really well,infact the best this year!!WUt Abt INdia?Singapore??

  S J Surya who gave us musical hits like, Vaali and Kushi. Then, he went on to remake Kushi in Hyderabad and Mumbai, is now back with his bi-lingual (Tamil-Telugu) New. The film stars S J Surya himself and Simran, with Kushboo, Kareena Kapoor (an item numer with Surya) in special appearences. The film has music by the great A R Rahman. S J Surya is supposedly have met A R Rahman in Mumbai airport last year and narrated the script of New, whish is inspired from Hollywood's, Big, to which A R Rahman immediately agreed to provide music.
  
  The film is produced by S J Surya himself and is simultaeneously being made in Telugu too. The Telugu version stars, Mahesh Babu and Amisha Patel along with Devyani playing Mahesh Babu's mother. The Telugu version is produced by Mahesh's sister.

  Excellent songs. You cannot expect anything good more than these songs. There are totally 10 songs in this movie. Only three full songs were composed. Please hold on for next few minutes for a detailed review from Karthik.

  First Song - KALAIYIL DHINA (Unni) - This song starts with some fantastic piano and continues till charanum. The second interlude has some excellent humming from a female singer (sounds like - Sujatha - Not sure) and she continues to sing the second stanza.
  
  Third song - "If you wanna sing a song" - This song is really very catchy (some interludes resembles like "Ye ye enna acchi unakku" from KV). It has got a beautiful mix up of both western & classical beats with some speedy rap sung by many girls.
  
  I was also told that there was an Introduction song for the Hero, for which our man is working on now. All the three songs were composed only in Chennai. I am sure that this album would reach all ears in the near future.
  
  I too heard the songs from NEW and it was fantastic....I am not exaggerating but this album is yet another masterpiece from our man. The song KALAIYIL DHINAUM sung by Unnikrishnan is the pick of the list...this song is amazingly good. Some of the members in this group are not happy with our man's recent composition and I also hear them saying ARR can't deliver quality music anymore..I don't want to make any comments on that bcoz NEW will be the biggest musical hit of this year and it will shut the mouth of those who criticized our man.
  
  Believe it or not,I heard three songs from NEW.....Man...I am blown away. Two more guys from our group too heard that...Don't ask me how I managed to hear it...that's a secret (well not so....Surya's brother is my colleague)...but I tell you.....NEW will be a treat to all of us fans...the ARR that we know since Thiruda thiruda. I heard only Three songs though I learnt that Four has been completed. I was told that the full mixing and other works on the songs are still pending....Well what I heard is more than enough for me.

  Will definitely become a modern Amma endrazhaikkadha...Man what a tune...A modern song on Mother. Great tune and great rendition by Unnikrishnan. I am still not able to believe how such a
  sentimental song can be composed so beautifully with modern funky beats...Hats off to ARR...Guys this is a treat...I learnt that Vaali wrote the lyrics...Hats off to him too.
  
  
  2. Spider Man..Spider Man:
  singer : Only a lady voice.
  
  very slow song...I learnt that this is a dream song with some extraordinary sets in Anna Salai....(Shooting is on now for this song). Slow song in the mould of Baila more...Lot of scope for Graphics. The song had only one stanza (or was I played only that much..?)
  
  
  3. If you want to Sing along.....
  This is a telegu song (But will come in Tamil too).....Man its the pick of the three....I am told that it is the Simran's introduction song.....Great...Great....some catchy words like "rammante Ananadham...Rammalle Tharangam (some things)..." (I don't know Telegu) comes and each time that line is sung it has some diff and funky beats in the back ground... This song has good amount
  of English lyrics and the singer is not Vasundara Das for sure....but who ever it is...she is out of the world.....Sure shot hit as the first one. Infact this is the song that is going to tell the fakes like ** and ** and *** (you know whom I mean ...right) what it means giving original hits.
  
  I am blown away.....don't know when I will listen to these three songs and other songs....But one thing is for sure....The ARR that the generation in 90's had heard the generation now is hearing in the form of clones will see a NEW ARR with full force....
  
  Udhayaa and Parasuram are just starters and appetizers....The real meal is just about to be served....Just hold your breathe and wait till June/July.Film is supposed to be released by August (Planned).

  dinesh, everybody knows that you are a die hard ARR fan and that ARR can do no wrong in your eyes.
  I think it will be better for you to leave it up to us to decide whether it acceptable or not, as I found Parasuram and Udhayaa to just be small food pickings that i pick from between my dogs teeth.

  in actualy fact ARR's music is equilly high-standard as those english songs u have listened to, and u cant accept the fact another INDIAN is doing good.....as u r a true INDIAN...rite....hence u all say ARR copied...
  
  prove it...then i will agree, yes there have been a few songs where the tunes, or beats are from English songs....he might have copied, or inpsired there...btu not ALL...i think those "Copying" happened only 2 - 3 times.out of all albums he have released.....

  The fact is ARR is copying english tunes,english songs beats - eee adichan copy, yaani ipo patha he has copied IR also.. thats also comming to light now. i dont have to support arr bcause im an indian. im not that stupid to say he is not copying english music. im living outside of india. parthaley paravasam songs also copy from english songs. i noe u r a real kinathu thavalai. if u want to beleive arr is not copying u do it so. i have no objection. but u can only be proud of ur arr's originality inside india and malasia. not in western countrys. u go to copying in tamil music thread and see the old and new comments. i saw someone listed some songs arr copied..
