  Around 1968-70, there was a Devar film called 'Kaadhal Vaaganam' stg. MGR & Jayalalitha. I am not able to recall who the MD was. Again, immediately after U. Su.Vaa., there was a film called 'pattikkaattup ponnaiyaa'. Pl. check up this also.

  It was a great moment to watch the live programme of Nandhi Awards Presentation by AP Govt Yesterday @ 6.45 PM (Teja Tv).
  
  Importance of this Function : Dr.Shri Rajkumar - Veteran KAnnada Actor,
  Dr. Smt P.Bhanumathi - Legendary Actress
  Dr. Smt P.Susheela - Legendary Singer were Present.
  
  PS was Awarded with Shri Raghupathy Venkiah Award by Honble Chief Minister of AP Mr.Chandrababu naidu
  
  Rajkumar , Bhanumathi were Awarded with Shri NTR national Award.
  
  The members of the JURY were
  
  Dr.Akkineni Nageshwararao ,
  Dr.C.NArayanareddy,
  K.Raghavendrarao
  
  Rajkumar Spoke about his experience with NTR,ANR.
  Bhanumathi wished Chandrababu naidu to become CM again and also praised people of
  Andhra . PS showed her respect to Bhanumathi by falling at her feet.
  
  PS was given the mike to speak, she started with praising bhanumathi .
  She said she used to sing Bhanumathi's songs and also mentioned about chandi rani, Bhakta duruva markandeya.
  She sang a line from kannatalli showing her hand towards Dr.NAgeshwararo.
  Also she spoke about NTR and sang a line from NTR's film
  
  When sang , Audience enjoyed like anything Particularly award winners Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Bhanupriya..
  
  She also thanked all producers and music directors who gave her chance and made her to this position.
  
  Chandrababu naidu praised PS saying there was a time when there were no films without PS's songs.
  He praised Bhanumathi and Raajkumar.
