Bhavatharini wins national award !!!!

Bavatharini and Shankar Mahadevan are winning national awards for the songs 'Mayil pola ponnu' and 'Enna solla pogirai'. Anu Malik wins the best MD award. Any comments?

  Guys,
  Bhavadharani fully deserves the award. I did not like the song when I listened to it first time. But when I saw the movie, the song appealed to a lot. Bhava's voice just was apt for the song.

  I expected Bhavatharini to win the award for her beautiful cameo in the ever-classic "Sorgathil Nikka.." from "Rajasthan". If Bhavatharini gets the national award, I am good looking enough to marry Aishwariya Rai...!!

  There had been shameful awards earlier like
  1. MGR winning best actor award for 'Rickshakaran'?
  2. Satyajit Ray (Excellent director, but no great MD) won an award for best MD in a film with no songs and little music?
  3. Sunny Deol for Ghayal?
  4. Amitabh winning for Agnipath?
  5. Susheela winning for Siri Siri Muvva but SPB left out of the award (how can they give an award to one person for a Duet song)
  6. Chitra winning for the 'ooh la la' -- The same illogic as 5?
  7. 1979 -- 2 good films were there
  Mullum malarum and KPR
  No movie qualified for the best Tamil Film in that year?
  and the list may go on!!
  But the epitome was this year.. Anil Kapoor (Always copied Kamal and Bagyaraj's films and acting), Raveena (??), Bhava, AK (topping the List) == I don't know which is the worst?

  Some of your postings, I don't think are absolutely correct.
  
  1. Exactly right
  
  2. Had, you listened to its music. Music need not be too much to creat an effect. Even if its a little if it creats enought impression on the film then its a good music.
  
  3.Sunny Doel : Good choice and really acted well. Its wrong to say that commercial film actors should not be awarded. Did you see that movie? I have eseen it several times.
  
  4.Amitab in agni path was really different from what he used to be and it was a very good performance. Also, it is a fact that at that time he was a congress MP. Again, did you see the movie? Seen it twice. Mithun got supporting actor's award in that film ,I think.
  
  5. I have no idea about it.
  
  6.Arguable, but it was a good song and Chitra should have been awarded earlier itself for some good ones that she sang ,which did not fetch an award.

  8.Did you see Pukar and Anil's acting. Its a very good movie and anil has done a commendable job. Really, worth an award..., but NA...,umm... I am not so sure. But, he really acted very well.

  I think Bava deserved to win because of the beautiful song and for her cute voice..And as for the MD, I really think IR should win it for his creation in "Bharathy" because the music was great.As for the best actor/actress awards,i think
  the winners should be someone else like the actor who act as Bharathy in the movie itself because his work was natural enough.

  I have seen this movie in DD years back and this Bengali movie (well there were few dialogues and little of Music anyway).. Have u seen it???
  3. Have seen twice, unfortunately.. Except for some tight script by Raj Santoshi, it was a regular revenge Drama (typical main thera Koon piyuunga == type movie).. Acting? well to show stiff face and some muscle is acting then this year's oscar should go to 'Arnie!'
  4. Poor Mithun and Malayalees .. That was disgraceful role for Mithun. Anyway, Amitabh is a great actor and the role in Agnipath was nothing great!.. He did better in 'HUM'!
  8. I haven't seen Pukar.. so no comments.. But having seen him since Woh Saat Din/Mashaal days, I know what I can expect from him!!! Thevar Magan/Virasat differences will prove that he has not improved much in his acting
  
  If u think I make comments without knowing Hindi Movies.. I Love good movies and songs of Hindi Movies.. (ofcourse pre 80 songs, The advent of Bappi Dada and the lowered standards of LP hit the Death Nail) Even an occasional Saath-Saath, Nikaah type songs are not sen Nowadays..

  Tabu was very good in Astitva. She came out with a solid performance and i was hoping she would with the award. Buk keyaars interview says she had only one vote and karisma had 7 votes..how unfortunate. Karisma, sorry to say, was totally expressionless in Zubeidaa. Rekha ,though in a miniscule role, was much better than KK in zubeidaa.
  
  Btw i totally accept with Balaji opinions on sunny Deol. Ajay Devgan for zakhm..when i heard that he won the award i thought it was a joke:). And i was hoping (!!!) was him to win the best supporting actor for 'hum dil de chuke sanam'..but unfortunately he didnt and i was disappointed:))

  Congrats to Bhava as she is a 'Tamil singer' with a tamil nativity to get the award. I wish they negotiated it for her first song 'Masthana' which was a better solo.
  
  But for this point, though she has the talent, the award by grace of Panelist Keyaar (as in the news papers}, could have been given to a worthy song or singer. It is the fate of tfm.
  Iam glad that IR has atlast used a 'tamil' voice for a 'tamil' film, in the form of his daughter.

  'Kadal PookkaL' is not yet released, After this news, I am also eager to watch the movie to see what Bhrathi Raja has done, ScreenPlay-la India muzukka Kalakkina BagyaRaj-oda (You know, ALL BagyaRaj movies are remade in Hindhi :-) Guru Aaachchee, Ethaavathu paNNiyirupapar manushan, :-)

  DO not use TEHELKA.COM for every thing .All these guys projected was few officials saying,Pay this officer, pay that officer....and we know for certain many of the beauracrats are corrupt...
  After Amritsar army incident one sikh policeman bribed few officials, became SARGENT security at Indhira Gandhi's residence and even shot her...
  SO tehelka.com exposing officials is only Araicha MAVU....

  Sunny Doel never won NA for any films...Only for supporting role as lawyer in DAMINI...he got Supporting Actor certificate of merit which Sivaji Ganesan earlier for some film received and rejected.Balaji, nee NIRAIYAVE ularugirai...

  Well said TNS sometime people get carried a bit too much by media hype.
  As far as the controvesy surrounding the awards its been there for a long time. Shivaji never received best actor inspite being so sincere to cong once the buffons i mean the juries never consider him good enough for that award.
  And the fresh controvesy two things first jurys tried to please all around end up in mess
  iidn jurys walked out are bengalis and it was a ego clash basically and they try to give some color to it. Like that bengali guy protested for giving award to Pandavas I mean that guy has to be a jerk. Pandavas was one of unique attempt in cartoon and animation in indian movies with international stand.
  And that guy later apologized to Raveena about his remarks so dont just go by the media,
  Media need to survey by writing some sensational things!!

  S.Janaki, Vanijayaram, Alkayagnik have received award for Duet songs Why pick up PS and Chitra?
  Anilkapoor is actor for 20 years and he is not just remake hero...He was in Triangle love story with Rajesh Kanna or Raaj Babbar and now he is in the same triangle with Salmaan or Akshy Kanna...
  NO one can survive like this by merely copying a Kamal or Bhagyaraj...AnilKapoor of early 1980s was far more handsome and agile than your Kamal or BR..
