Thangamalai Ragasiyam had two versions of Amudhai Pozhiyum. A happy version when Jamuna first sees Sivaji and a sad version when she sings the same song to locate him later. You may connsider increasing the count by one.

I made a mistake - instead of 'Paalirukkum ", I had mentioned "Ettadukku" in Paava Mannippu.So, we have to replace "Ettadukku" with "Paalirukkkum".The cont remains unchanged.

Just recollecting miniature (or bit) version of songs figure in the films but not would be part of the audio in the shops. One such ready example is “nenjam undu nErmai undu” from “en aNNan” by TMS+PS (film ending bit). Am very eager to listen to that bit. Sponsor: SK :-)
SK, during last weekend, I came across such lovely bits.
From Bhagyalakshmi.
PS sings the complete song for Sowcar Janaki. But a smaller version is in the film for EV Saroja too. She repeats the pallavi and a few lines in a slower pitch. This version is with excellent veeNa background. Gemini gets upset listening to EVS’ singing and looses his control and screams “stop it”.
PS showed a deep longing in Sowcar’s version whereas insecurity feeling in EVS’s version.

PS is the lone singer in the film singing all main 4 songs. The same “aththai madi meththai-yadi” is in 2 different smaller versions in the film. Both for Savithri. The first one, when baby Shakeela demands [she is lovely :-)], Savithri tries in slower pace. But the baby rejects saying “nalla illa”. Whereas the 2nd smaller version is at the end. Savithri gets recovered in a miracle and starts singing “Annai madi methai-yadi”. This is also in a slower pace.
Appeal to SK or other friends…. Please share these pretty bits also, if possible.

Raj,
We need to be clear whether we are going to list all songs in Sivaji films , sung by PS or whether only the songs sung for Sivaji's heroine in these films.Many of the earlier Sivaji films had 2 heroes - GG was the second hero in most of these films.PS has sung many songs in these films for GG's heroine (Savithri/Padmini/Saroja Devi). Even a few songs listed by me already (Inbam Pongum Vennila, Yaar Yaar Yaar AvaL Yaaro etc) are for GG's heroines. I think we should list all songs sung by PS in Sivaji films, irrespective of the hero.
Once we agree, we can continue with the listing.

Agree with you that all songs in Sivaji films irrespective of the hero should be listed. In which case the count for Paarthaal Pasi Theerum goess up by two - Andru Oomai Pennallo comes twice once as a solo and once as a duet with ALR.
