HI! Lets have a vote. Lets see who wins in this votes. It might be a male singer or a female. Just tell me your favourite male and female singer. And I will be counting from the beggining of this thread. When I'm getting no responses from you all, then I will anounce the results. One male and one female singer. OK. First i'll tell mine.

The thread is about everyone's FAVOURITE singers. not about who is the best !!! Be clear about this....Favourite singer need not be the best among all !!! You can argue that the best singer opinion varies person to person and that makes them as individual favourites !!! But, it need not be the case. You can still like some singer as your favourite singer (say like HR , Hariharan, Karthik, Shankar Mahadevan..) even though you cannot call them the best among all singers. When it comes to best, it is comparing the singers and their talents there which is very very difficult as each one is good in certain kind of songs. 'Favourite singer' is something that you like the way he sings or hie / her voice.
In my case, I can say that my favourite female singers are Sadhana Sargam , Shreya Ghoshal... but it doesnt mean they are the best.
And i like Karthik a lot and he is my favourite but please dont compare him with a legend like SPB..
