Favourite singer?

HI! Lets have a vote. Lets see who wins in this votes. It might be a male singer or a female. Just tell me your favourite male and female singer. And I will be counting from the beggining of this thread. When I'm getting no responses from you all, then I will anounce the results. One male and one female singer. OK. First i'll tell mine.

  1.MELODY:Jayachandran is melody,i am ashamed of stating about such a great person that "JAYACHANDRAN IS
  HAVING MELODY ALSO".But yesudas now and then had it.
  2.RANGE:Jayachandran's 90% songs had this characteristic.Let me point out some songs which have some less range
  Ninpadangalil
  Nunakkuzhikavilil
  Bhoolokarambhayute
  Yesudas's songs have range but equally there are songs which don't have range.It is like 2 faces of a coin
  3.SPEED:There is no speed in yesudas's songs.Noone can show a speedy song sung by him.He tried to sing sometimes
  like
  pavataprayathil
  which have not succeeded since it resembles a conversation.
  Jayachandran is superb in speed.
  Take for eg the song
  pa pa pa pa pa nisa manohari
  ma ma ma ma ma vikaramanjari devasundari
  To pronounce it properly and sing it speedily yesudas is not at all perfect.Jayachandran was fully perfect.
  4.VIBRATIONS:Vibrations are made by both singers.Both are equally good in it.Jayachandran's
  vibrations in prayam nammil was beautiful.
  5.DEPTH:Jayachandran has much depth than yesudas.In depth yesudas is nil in front of jayachandran.Even in a simple
  padam like karivarivandukal kurunirakal in DEVARAGAM take the part "kaikalo-o-o-
  jalapushpavalayangalo-o-o-o-o"
  He has the depth there.In all songs this is coming into picture.As Ajith show above,yesudas was unable to maintain raaga
  
  
  at high pitches is About this aspect.
  6.SOFTNESS:Even now when he is not getting chances as yesudas he maintains the softness like the song
  Ariyathe ariyathe-e in RAVANAPRABHU.But Jayachandran is not the master of this it is Hariharan.But Yesudas is
  nothing in this,he is always noty soft.But some songs like Kattile pazhmulam thandil ghe approached it.Jayachandran and
  
  
  Hariharan are 2 good in it.
  7.VERSATILITY:Altogether more versatile is Jayachandran but due to luck yesudas was more famous.It does not mean
  that jayachandran is less versatile.He was not recognised as he should be.
  If Jayachandran was given more chances he would have shown up the world.But when politics or other pressure comes
  against a singer what the most versatile singer can do?
  That is why i consider him as most versatile.If he should have remained there in bollywood,he would have been famous
  like his students.

  I like so many singers and i think some are better than others at singing particular style of songs. Hariharan, Harini, Swarnalatha, S Jankiki, sujatha, Udit Narayan, unnikrishan r all great. But if i had to choose my overall fave singers it would have to be SPB and KS Chitra.

  SPB SUCKS,KJY SUCKS,ALL INCLUDING HARIHARAN,HARISH SUCKS FRIENDS.IF THEY TRY HARD ALSO THEY CAN'T REACH THE MUSICAL INSIGHT OF PJC.THEY ALL BOW THEIR HEAD AND FALL AT THE FEET OF PJC WITH RESPECT.

  From my opinion, sadhana sargam has a very sweet voice although sometimes her pronunciation is not that perfect.The way she sings really melts my heart. I really hate vani jairam's voice which sounds like a cat run over by a lorry!!!!
