Nadeem Shravan wins easily because listen to their songs it has indian, western blended with a melody. ARR songs sound totally electronic no natural or true instrument used in the music.

I know about the first site. Before I read that link, can you give me one link where there is any thing critical of Ilayaraja in that site. Onnum ille, I don't want to be confused between facts and propoganda. :)

Please understand that I am very well aware of Ilayaraja and his talents and contributions, but when people praise him at the expense of other talents, I cannot let that go unchallenged.

dear gowri, that link in raajangahm.com is a direct reply by IR himself. That wud tell u if he is a simpleton or an egoist as MANY PEOPLE claim him to be. And when u have leisure time u can read that interview that i have given in that thread "Before u start another raja vs rehman crap thread". Also i have given links to other plain interviews (audio files) by IR in the same thread. Till u complete reading those & hearing those interviews (audio files), u can probably halt passing "hurting" remarks on IR. And if someone talks abt IR at the expense of talent of others, u can counter with meaningful posts on why that person might be wrong. Indulging in posting "distorted" views upon IR himself, is un-called for. IMHO.

To me Ilayaraja is another MD like MSV before him and ARR after him. I refuse to be in awe of him or his replies.

And I will not stop passing on remarks as long as they are facts. In other words, I refuse to be intimidated by bullying.

Please also ask others to stop giving distorted views of other personalities. Avungala muthal le nerutha sollunga. :)

Wakey Wakey twilight zone. Unlike wat u may hope for, not ALL ur fellow IR Fans r not the most sophisticated bunch of people on Earth. I did not generalise tat all IR Fans behave like ambleen. I gave u an example of what An IR Fan can do, which no ARR Fan did, under the same circumstances. Just accept it. No point going into denial.

And twilight_zone, whatever Gowri posted in this thread (out of topic or otherwise) was not enuf to make her deserve a guy telling her to **** herself. You sound like one of those guys who'll say, well tat gal deserved to be raped bcos she walked alone at night. It doesn't matter what she did. Swear words are WRONG. What Gowri did, is not a BIG CRIME, which no one has done before. Evryone talks about Evryone in Evry damn thread here. dear ROTFL , how abt these threads wherein i NEVER got to see ANY OF YOU GUYS make any protest at what mud slinging was done on IR? And what is worse, i cud see some support offered instead.

A) will raja fans think? [i cud plainly see that WHYNOT just cudn't control her glee :-). ROTFL, there was a specific ugly statement in that intro of the thread (i shudder to even mention that here), and had it been said wrt ARR, i am sure whynot wud have cried hoarse and wud have continued her "generalization" campaign which is so familiar now, and which reads something like,"see, i always knew all IR Fans....yawn..." But she didn't even whisper a single word of protest, and instead, to utter shock of many regular DFers, openly supported the person who started this pathetic thread.]

B) how much does IR charge for a kovil katchery (does the thread sound acceptable to you ROTFL? Be frank & honest. But this got ample support from so many "learned" people, u know who.)

C) Great scandal - IR starts threads praising himself (stinks)

D) Raja - a total scrap (surprisingly, it was started by a dude called SARATH whom i have seen had been harping abt being a neutral supporter of good music)

E) Who is a better composer - IR or Anu Malik

F) Is IR an ET.. (here i was glad that u didn't participate dear ROTFL, but watch out comments by Gowri & whynot. Especially Gowri's, and after reading that, i wondered if i had made that sincere apology to her in a hurry.)

Look ROTFL, i virtually live with IR's music, but i have pitched in with protests when someone creates "unpleasant" noise abt ARR. In a thread that was titled "ARR Losing talent", i said,"i never knew talent was something u can lose. It is immature to say he has lost talent". In IR's new albums thread i have repeated so many times,"pls do not bring down other MDs here, and don't make comparisons". In "interesting incidents" thread, out of the four posts i made, two were about positive high points abt ARR. And i was posted umpteen times that IR & ARR have mutual respect for each other (see my "before u start another IR Vs ARR crap thread), and so why start a stale thread comparing them?

For your information ROTFL,i and my close friend maintain two similar websites, one for IR & one for ARR. And we both help out each other in developing each other's website. He focusses on ARR & self on IR. But i point out good features of ARR's music day in & day out to him, and he reciprocates with brilliance in IR stuff whenever he finds one. And we both know IR & ARR are masters in their own way, but we respect each other's personal choice, that is IR or ARR.

Hope this clears some cloud. :-)
