Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  the first site has 191 registered fans(last month 900 messages were posted on this forum), while the second one has 300 plus fans, i say 300 plus because i couldnt register my name(apparently 300 is the maximum capacity)
  
  there are also several other sanu fan clubs on the net.
  
  if u can show me any other singer's web site on the net, with a 500 strong fan following, please do send me the link.
  
  otherwise let the reality sink in, that kumar sanu is the greatest and most popular singer of all time.
  
  and here we are talking elite high class regular internet freaks, if you talk about the Indian middle and lower middle class, then believe me, no other singer exists.

  If KS (and other singers) are not the trio's cup of tea, then that's that. It's their prerogative.
  Why would you think that detract from the fact that KS occupies a special and elevated place in the hearts of those who admire his voice and singing?
  You and millions of others know he is a fine singer. Be content in that recognition.
  
  There is a difference between popularity and calibre. Those who hear the difference, know the difference.

  What are you trying to say ? All Bengalis support Kuamr Sanu ? Or Bengalis are losers?
  
  Just for your information there are other famous singer from Bengal some sample KISHORE KUMAR, HEMANT KUMAR , MANNA DE, Abhijit, Shaan, Babul Supriyo. Also again for your information Alka is from Bengal and Sonu Nigam is a damad of Bengal. So why this foolish question?

  i have been following your career progression right from the days when you used to only sing the raag/alaap of the song and some other singer (like udit )would sing the actual song.
  
  you have done very well indeed, apparently you have struggled a lot.
  
  i know that u r very highly educated in music, but i would like to give you some 'layman' advice on singing....after all 99.9% of your audience consists of laymen like me!!
  
  your voice quality is very good, but i feel that you are restricting yourself , and subsequenly typecasting yourself.
  
  most of the songs i hear you sing are the high pitch loud songs....i don't think you are doing justice with yourself.let me say one thing, high pitch is only appreciated when preceeded by a low pitch. otherwise what would be the difference between a play-back singer and a punjaabi bhangra singer?
  
  also, emotion is the most important aspect of a voice, it is ultimate result we want from a play-back singer. if perfection of singing was the most important aspect, then bhimsen joshi would be the most successful playback singer today.
  
  i am sure you can sing the lower pitch and soft romantic numbers well too. my favorite song sung by you till date is 'aasmaan ke baad shaayad aur koi aasmaan hoga'.
  
  in 'dillagi',again you sang a romantic song very well..... i remember that a guy sitting next to me in the cinema hall momentarily thought that kumar sanu was singing(this is meant to be a compliment)
  
  if you wished, you could have sang 'kaisi hai yeh rut ki jismein' very well too.
  
  i hope you will sing more 'quality ' song by yourself, rather than handing them out to other singers...if you dont wish to sing it, then give the song to kumar sanu!!!( my favorite singer )

  aw shucks! an opportunity to convey to the masses what I really think about Kumar Sanu's singing (or for that matter his current 'big brother' attitude of 'advicing about the do's and don'ts of singing) - but alas! that opportunity suffered a premature death.

  no i am not bengali, i am from UK (ethinically from Uttara Khand,garhwal.....and living with my family in United Kingdom)
  
  i would like to make a small statement for the "COOL" people on this forum.
  
  if you really want to be cool, listen to NIRVANA, PEARL JAM, MEGADETH etc, i personally dont find people singing hindi with an american accent(like in 'humma humma') very cool, actually i find it saddening that gullible youngsters these days feel shame in admitting that they have mohd rafi casettes at home, and pride in stating that they are part of the 'cool wave', where Indian languages sound foreign.
  
  i am very much into the grunge scene, although less after Kurt Cobains death,but this is restricted to partying, headbanging/dancing etc... when it comes emotions, i am very traditional, and i LOVE Kumar Sanu....after all, dil hai hindustani.
  
  flinging vulgar remarks at other singers is not cool either, it just shows how shallow, desperate, immature and insecure you are.

  PLEASE, all thos KS fans and all the non-KS fans out there...PLEASE PUT AN END TO ALL THIS. IF you think, KS i great, HE IS GREAT. IF you think he is not, HE IS NOT. No point trying to impose opinions on others. IF someone insults your favorite singer, will it become true??....so please stop replying and lets have some dignified silence in these matters.   just finished hearing the title track of kal ho na ho for the 4th time.. just awesome... esplly the 2nd interlude and the shift to the mukhda using the flute of naveen, i presume... felt on top when hearing it.. amazing interlude!
  great song. how did it conceptualize?
