Time to have some more fun?
What is this lyrics potti huh?Well we have all been witnessing the hidden talents of many of our DFers in the lyrics area. So i decided why dont we
have a small competition in terms of lyrics.
What we need to do?
I will give a popular tune and explain the situation for which this particular song was written. All you have to do is come out with entirely different lyrics(but it should be apt for that particular situation).You should write atleast one pallavi and one charanam. Do not use
English words and please refrain from vulgarity(we have many kavignars in Tamil cine world for that). Whoever comes out with the best set will be
selected as the winner.(the winner will be selected on the basis of nadai, content and tamizh usage)
Who will select the winner??Its going to me(hehehe-easy job:))and Rajaraman.
The winner will be given the responsibility to chose the next tune(only the next) and situation and he will join the panel of judes(!!)to select the next winner.

  the rewritten lyrics were tremendously good
  well i was stunned when i was readin this lyrics.
  i might be a new comer in yhis forum ...
  but i do feel that we should be ready to take in more new music for the competition...other then then good old tunes...its my personal view...no heart feeling

  NOV, cram, I would like to do both your songs. Which shall we do first? You guys come to an agreement.
  Cram, I agree that Peedaiyappa was insufferable, but like NOV suggests, we could write it in an entirely different context if only to right the wrong. I'm also keen on Sangeetha Swarangal for its complex sandham.
