  Drinks: Strictly prohibitted unless Kupps pulls out of the meeting:-)

  Plan: (NOM to anyone..jus for fun..ithukaga enna meeting'la adikatheenga)
  Tamil thaai vaazhthu by suresh in english..:-)
  Vel will give a breif explanation abt the Raaga of the vaazhthu sung by suresh and the actual raaga it was meant to be sung.
  kupps will ask questions to Vel abt the raaga, which will sound very logical and confusing at the same time.
  Raj can help in translating the tamizh thaai vaazhthu to tamil for lesser mortals.
  Prabhu will say the exact time(in milliseconds) and date when that raaga was discovered,a cricket match that happened the same day and the name of the actress born on the same day..
  Then a mock session in which anyone from the group can ask chief guest Saravanan any question abt any tamil film(even unreleased and shooting-yet-to-start films).
  curses has to take special care that C~P and rajasaranam are kept far away from each other :-)
  curses and C~P can tell us abt the current college trend so that we oldies can get the taste of it..curses shud bring the photo which he has taken with ARR..
  snacks and drinks are distributed whenever there is a long silence..singers or instrument players(pls bring ur instruments) can do performances..photos will be taken..if bb allows we can display that in this thread title..
  
  to prevent anti-social elements mixing with us lets have a secret code sentence among us..like 'pulli raaja vukku aids varuma?' or 'eppidi irundha naan ippidi aayten'..pls suggest

  I suggest we meet opp. Qwiky's at Adyar signal (5 pm?), and move from there in a couple of cars if possible. We should reach MGM in 45 mins max and start working at resolving the existential 'IR-or-ARR' dilemma that monopolises much of our working lives. If dinner is on the agenda as well, I can book a table for 7.30.
  
  Early birds wanting to curl up at home with their glass of rasam or milk, not to despair. We can make sure that everyone is dropped at the pickup point by 9.30 latest. If sufficient quorum exists, the degenerates can make their plans to extend their discussion at such places of vice as catches their fancy.   i don't think we need to postpone this beyond Oct25 coz lotsa ppl wud be in town on that day....as Ravi said Oct24 is diwali...just one problem though...on 25th, Singara Chennai will be a Kuppamedu Chennai! :)

  your suggestion seems fine...but don't you feel that geeting to MGM is too long a journey....i mean don't we have places inside the city where we can see the sunset? :-) ... any suggestions? ... im working out the stuff and will let u know if anything good strikes
  Prabhu felt that meeting in the morning would be better coz of the Saturday evening mad crowd....the timings also need some revision
  
  btw...October end in Chennai is the reainy season at its peak....so i suggest we don't stick just with the 'outdoor' plan....some alternatives mayb needed....2 cars would definitely be needed....any one else who can help us out in this regard?

  Since Saravana wont be available after Oct 25, we have to fix the first meet for any Sat ON OR BEFORE 25th. Is 25th north indian diwali or south indian diwali?? If NI we can possibly fix it.

  Prabhu, I will be in Chennai in Dec. Inform if any GT in DEC. During get together hope, there will be TI symphony.. (If it is boys, proxy theertham if it is TIS, then thulasi theertham )...
