bollywood vs kollywood!!!

I feel the Hindi audience, these days, is totally tasteless...seeing the kind of movies made in bollywood! They seem so unbelievably idiotic. And the music...even worse!!! Even lagaan and devdas, i feel were not as great as they claimed they were. Definitely not Oscar caliber :O When Lagaan was nominated for Oscar... we had pop-ups on MSN saying "Ask Spielerg to watch Lagaan"!!!! I mean idhellam konjam over-aa therialay??!! All the Hindi movies ever have is standard-aa one family bzness and a wedding and a holiday some place like NZ, Swiss et al. Tamil movies are far far better in content and music and everything. What do u say?

  Yeah, he is restricting to underworld/terror films because he is good in that. I feel it is better, than he trying to do some romantic/family movies like others. He has tied up with sahara for producing movies. Next the movie "Darna Zaroori hai" will be released. It is the sequel for "Darna Mana hai". Darna Mana hai was a good try..

  Thangar contradicts himself. He is someone who wants to be in limelight. All good tamil directors were patient and did not give some bad comments, just because their movie did not do well. The movie thendral had some issue about cauvery which are his "karuthu" placed in the movie and are not appropriate to the movie totally. Some of the problems in tamil film is that, instead of sticking to the subject, directors touch many things, which are sometimes irrelevant. The confident directors (Mahendran, MR, KB, BM and kamal to an extent) dont do these often and stick to their subject. The over confident (Thangar)/ not-so confident (the list is huge) directors, make this mistake.

  I still beilive he does not contradict ,but reacts more than what is required ..ALso he show s his anger is a rude way ..Liek thendral movie had cavery issue ,Tamil archanai ,Magazines ina rude way ..It could have been delivers in a more classical and effective way through dialogues and silence ....!!!

  I agree. Its this crudeness in movies and personality, that separates us from the rest of the world. Some of the concept in the movies are good, just we exaggerate things a little more.

  As far as song is considere d,i will split even ..Tamil probably has mor emelodies ( but even that has become less)
