Your aim is to irritate-and you are doing it very admirably!
  I am happy that VM is joinig back with IR-there is some magic.The combination of IR-VM-SPB-SJ/chitra is fantastic.I still do not know whether the magic will work out yet again .

  I too saw that post on london/hungary. You gave a fitting reply and replied it very well. But why to bring they hatred to a different thread at all?.
  
  What surprises me, what gowri said was unwarrented. But, No Whynot, not ROFTL seem to raise a finger, all they can say ...why dont you see that thread, why dont you see this thread ... why only IR fans can talk this etc etc etc.
  Why so much partisanship?. I NEVER SUPPORTED A IR fans bad talk. most of the time I avoid any fights. But I DONT support something bad by partisanship. As much as possible I have tried IR fans discourage making bad comments, As iam not realy active these days you may not have seen it.
  But I dont get partisan and be a devils advocate, just bring so called BALANCE to forum.

  While making a comment, we must note that this is public forum and we are addressing people who we never knew. In one thread i was talking about some banana song and ROFTL's answer was 'ada chee pongada... IR songa inrunda unnaku copy illya etc etc, banana song ketrukia ...'.
  
  Does ROFTL knows me? does he knows my age etc? Am I realy a IR fan etc etc?. There should be a basic respect to a stranger and should try to understand what he is trying to say. Than giving a indecent reply right on face.
  
  You take my point or dont take it, but give me my basic respect. You cant dis-respect me for some IR fan's bad mouth. This is not some college campus lunch time chat, here you dont know the other person. Until you get to know him personaly please avoid slang talk.
  
  The actual problem is REAL knowlegable people have left this forum, because of such loose talk. I dont find a single srikanth or rjay these days. I learnt a lot from such people. please avoid loose talk and try talk sense.
  
  Other than publishing links to news sites, what credible thing does forum brings? does it worth the time to come here and loose you mood?
  
  
  
  One more thing about the london/hungary thing.
  Such thing can be taken as a joke, if its on a younger MDs, say YSR or HJ, even ARR.
  But if you say older 60+ people like KYJ, MSV, IR
  having a OC trip it becomes bit offensive. Now dont pounce on me. Its just a opinion in general, not as a IR fan.

  This is meant merely as a constructive suggestion. If it does not come across as such, you can blame it on my communication skills, your state of mind, your interpretation of my intent,...a combination or exclusion thereof. I choose to address you three specifically because some of your posts indicate that you are capable of presenting meaningful/logical viewpoints.
  
  1. Is there a black and white distinction between ARRF and IRF? Don't you think it is possible to be a fan of both (and other) MDs? I believe a majority of the DFers are fans of both MDs and music in general - and posters like you irritate them by making degrading remarks about either of the MDs.
  2. Whynot - earlier you have referred to your caucus as "we ARR fans". Are you an ARR fan or ARR's music's fan? Most discerning posters/forumers try to belong to the second group, including your's truly.
  3. Gowri - you have mentioned something to the effect that IR is finished/done. Are you elated about such a possibility? and are you proud of the fact that somebody's azhivu brings a great joy to you? tch tch.....BTW, being anti-IR/ARR does not make you a better ARR/IR's music fan. It just confirms that your musical judgements are, at best questionable.
  4. Please remember this - IR and ARR are extremely talented people and neither of them need jalras or kooja thookkis, atleast not in the TFMDF. There are a certain class of posters who thrive on being so and post their annoying/sometimes amusing one-liners. Seasoned DFers choose to ignore them. Wouldn't you want to belong to the seasoned group, instead of trying to be part of the ignored group? :-)

  Someone calling himself "Music" makes an unwarranted remark, but you don't see any ARR fan jumping at him/her and abusing him/her and using four-letter words.
  In fact, except for me, no one else made any issue of it. So whose fans are behaving with maturity here? (I don't matter as I am Mr. Nobody's fan. :))

  kk, you know what is worse than being abusive? It is twisting someone's words. Fortunately for me, whatever I said is recorded (!) permanantly. All I need to do is a cut-and-paste. Here is what you said and my response:

  My comments:
  
  1. I believe there can be practically no one who is not a fan of IR. I mean, anyone who enjoys TFM will have been touched by IR's song some time or other.
  
  2. Many people here lament about the "older" people who used to post here are no more, because of "people like us." This is conveniently forgetting the history. All one needs to do is look at the Archives. I believe it is the HCIRFs who drove away the more sensible posters.
  
  3. I can't speak for Gowri and WhyNot, but I personally have been disgusted by some of the postings of HCIRFs. Sometimes, the only way to make them realise the hurt they are causing, is by hurting them instead. I am not proud of this, but a man got to do what a man's got to do. :)
  
  "Thadi eduthavan ellaam sandaikaaran," is a good proverb to describe the present scenario.
  Whoever who has internet connection and a little time is capable of causing hate. Education or civilisation is not necessary here. Avungalukkellaam ippadithaan puriya vaikkanum saar. :)
  
  Please do not take all the above as being intolerant and stubborn. If it comes across as such, you can blame it on my communication skills. :)
  
  In closing, let me tell you, that I will indeed consider your advise seriously. :)
