Kudaikkul Mazhai Album Released

Yesterday i went to Music world and i saw Cassettes of this movie but CD is not yet released, it has totally 9 tracks including three instrumentals and other tracks are sung by Illayaraja, SPB and Hariharan
Anybody heard the album?

  You are right, there are many more themes that are very nice but did not have time to write about them !

  No wonder ...I downloaded the first 40 min from NET ....I have seen that atleast 15 times so far ..!!:))..But too bad i have not seen the movie fully ..:((
  
  Incase u see the movie again ,just also note teh BGM that comes when parthiban and the heroine meet at the cofee shop ....WOW!! Amazin music ..

  I don't know how comfortable is KR in folk .....and that too Vijaykanth film ..But heard teh story for this movie is good and hence we can expect some good numbers ...
  QUite intrestingly YSR who is a bit western ,did very well in Nanada ,a kind of rural subject ..

  KR is the best MD in this era, after IR. I am not just saying this. He has immense talents. I have a strong faith that he will do his best in Niranja Manasu. Either it is folk or carnatic or western, he will prove his best.

  For Virumaandi ,he was involved one and only in orchestration ,i belive ...though i would be happy if he had done few tunes too ....Esp that villupaattu kind of song ..One and only raaja can do this song ....WOnderful song !!!
  
  My doubt is not about KR's abilities in folk but about the scope in Vijaykanth's film ..Vaanchinatahan was an example ...Three songs are good in that movie but none of them were picturized ....U can see such examples also in Ramana ,Gajendra ....
  
  Imagine the director giving situations like Intro song ,Love song ,teasing song .....How would one get inspiration for that ....!!!
  
  Let's hope that NM has a good storyline as claimed by few websites ..!!!

  This is one brilliant movie and a genius presentation...What went wrong with this from making it an all time classic is the presentation...
  
  I wish people like Kamalhassan, Mani and BM see this film and help parthiban to fine tune this film further before he sends it to awards...Sure with little bit tweeking here and there this film will make a big harvest in those awards and festivals.

  With the film slated to release for Diwali,here's another instance of a movie audio with KR's music being released only a week b4 the film's release.It's happening too frequently with KR&I wish he insists from now on that there should be atleast a month's gap between the audio&movie release.

  Why was Karthik Raja chosen as the music director?
  The story needed good melodies and Karthik Raja’s tunes suited the story and milieu of the film. A particular song sung by Shreya Ghosal and picturised on Vijaykanth and Susan is the highlight of the album.

  KR seems to be repeatedly using SG, may be IR, Bhava again...Guaranteed damage to good songs.. Even in kudaikul mazhai, Adeye kiliye IMHO, IR spoiled the song.

  I think Bhava has drastically improved her voice ..Kangalum Kangalum song from Ragasiyamai was excellent ..
  
  Adi Kilye ,well IR was good ,though i felt that Madhu Baalakrishnan /Balaram would have done better ..
  SG has sung great numbers under KR !!WHat about chellamai chellam and Oduthey Oduthey ?

  QUite true ..just compare Attagasam songs ..It was released 2 weeks gao ...Atleast in NM ,it is released a week ago ,but in teh case of kudaikkul mazhai it was released 3 days before teh release..

  Do you have any idea why Parthiban&Vijayakanth have neglected the music like this?After all a hit audio will only help the opeanings of the film,is it not?Also most of KR's music have not been properly marketed barring Kadala Kadala,Dum Dum Dum&Ullasam.Is it his bad luck or something else?

  Vijaykanth -Tell me a film of his in teh recent 4 years in which music had its saying ..
  
  But iam very very surprised with Parthipan who gave excellent publicity for IVAN ,but almost nil for kudaikkul mazhai ..I think the pressure would have been time of release and post production works ..

  I am listening to Onnu Rendu once again now. This guy is something, the saranams and the interludes are just fantastic. The violin in the first interlude and the trumpet in the second interlude is mind blowing. Notice the way he ends the trumpet :).
  Dont forget the bass patterns, something that you would cherish after listening to Raaja ......
