Recent PKS
Only the boarding hostel scene is in Singapore. The rest are in Malaysia and M'sian police have been used (or replica) in the movie, which they claim to be Singaore Police. Singapore police would never agree to do such a scene - A tamil police lets Dhanush escape. Only if some Tamil Govt Official sees this it would be in for another ban!

one lecture and the terrorist become innocent..
why don't he does his lecture in the first 1/2 hour and the we can have some english movie running for next 2 hours...that would increase the ticket sales rite...

A flaw in tamil movies hmmmmm
I think the fighting scenes in tamil movies can be really ridiculous. Yep, they got like some dude fighting people off like superman, using all these wild stunts which is not realistic. Sometimes the fighting scenes can be so loong, making the movie boring to watch.
The fighting scenes in Kaakhaa Kaakha were awesome though! :)

I don't know if that would be considered a flaw. Large than life heroes are an integral part of Indian cinema!!

i do remember Rule#5 though...
"The villain's henchman MUST jump from the 2nd floor of a building in a bid to attack the hero.. but the hero (may or may not turn) should give him a single (Not more than one.. mind u) blow, that results in the henchman make a not-so-perfect landing in the 4th floor!!! :p

which makes tamil cinema look ridiculous at times,larger then life heros is another flaw =P

Minnale- the whole madhavan pretendin to be abbas.i find it hard to believe she never new how abbas looked considerin they are family friends and since they are going to get married she woulda at least gotten a photo or sumthin.

Jeans- after they find out the surgery was done on the wrong side of the head they go to tell off the doctors....in TAMIL come on now.....

Nisha's whole post about fighting reminded me of this...

1. The baddies would attack the hero one by one ;)... I mean... come on now? why stand and watch your people get beaten up, get in there adn kick some butt.

2. OR all of them pile up or hold the hero "back" and he would supposedly get some super shakthi and shake the baddies off like they were some fleas on a cat!

Anyway... In Thiruda Thirudee... When Dhanush is around his freinds, he got scraggly beard and hair.. but when he is at home, he is all clean shaven and has short hair...

Then the next day it would be scraggly... no one's hair grows like that! There is no consistency

You know and I know what you are talking about! What's wrong with larger than life heroes? Movies are meant for entertainment as well and expecting a message out of each and every one is not correct. Besides this isn't a "flaw" as regards this topic. We are talking about a different dimension (I think!). What you pointed out in Jeans is the "flaw" we are talking about! :-)

The "Thiruda Thirudi" thingy, if true, is more like it. I don't think we should include all the "illogical" stuff in Tamil cinema here as flaws. That would make the list endless!

Lists the flaws in many hollywood flicks.
Eg : They managed to spot what pill Neo swallows in The Matrix. He actually picks up the opposite coloured pill(red?) to the one he swallows(blue?).
They also found some "strings" in the stunts left unedited or something like that.
