  There is a master piece by Vairamuthu in one of Arjun's Earlier films that goes like..
  
  "Sangu chakkara sami vandhu jingu jingunnu adichan, olagamm moonu ......"etc (So unfortunate, my brain doesn't remember such lyrical masterpieces).

  I have heard children singing the lines, "Sangu Chakkara SAmi Vandhu Jingku Jinkunu Aadicham" while counting and deciding playmates before a game in my native place.
  Its tune (as sung by the kids) is quite like the Ayyappa Saranam song:
  
  'OnnAm Thiruppadi CharaNam Pon Ayyappa
  SAmi Pon Ayyappa AyyanE POn Ayyappa
  SAmiyillathoru CharaNam Illayappa'
  
  that starts on a slow pace and picks up speed and ends in a slow pace again.
  
  In my opinion, Vairamuthu has only copied from this folk song, and of course added his own 'Original' stuff to it.

  Guys, If the song 'kaaLai kaaLai murattu kaaLai' from manithan is written by VM, then the following lines need some clarifications.

  Not only degrading each other, they are degrading love as such. I cant understand how karpu/kannagi come in between. mahaa kEvalamaana varigaL.

  The Name Vairamuthu brings to my mind the latest spoof by Boskey on Vijay TV.. He made a satire of his kavithaigal which went like this (read it like Vairamuthu speaks)
