  that example u mentioned pennala pennala from uzhavan...hmm...i just imagined udit narayanan singing it...hehe...impossible...okay, so to some extent u are of course right, the singer is in fact important, that's for sure...it was not like i was discrediting the importance of a singer, especially of spb, but if u have to answer to a statement like "ARR is not using SPB because he is afraid of sharing the success with SPB" then u have to become a bit rude...sorry...

  i think this is what yesudas meant, actually spb was pre-determined to sing those songs...but it first came to yesudas...he said no, and so it went to spb. i know it's not some logic explanation...more spiritual...god, fate and so on... but i remembered this statement of yesudas, as people like raghu for instance was saying that this and that song would have sounded better if his spb had sung it. there is no 'what, if this and that had happened'...all unrealistic wish-thinking...what if hitler had won the war? what if john f kennedy was not shot? what if bin laden's plane had missed the world trade centre? all question not worth thinking of cause it leads to nowhere...
  
  this going out of control is exactly what i meant. people like raghu keep on posting blind admiration posts on so many threads...i mean they are all dealing with the same person actually - spb. i remember how he once posted an article about spb on 5 different spb-threads. the same damn article on 5 different threads! i mean what can one do than shake one's head. and this coming from a should-be-matured 25 year old post graduate in computing...
  maybe u have another definition for fanaticism, but to me at least this raghu is a spb-fanatic...that's for sure...
  i even read his messages in another forum, forumhub.com, it's (the forum) of the same type as this one...guess from the same people...here's just an example i just saw...(have a look at the IP address...then u'll know who our osama bin ladin is...)

  BTW, u mentioned, there was no SPB in Rangeela, think again buddy, SPB was singing in the Tamil version, perhaps SPB heavy bass is to much for the feminine looking Hindi heros. haha

  u see, i am what u call a very normal fan... i like a.r rahman's music like so many people there, in many threads where people discussed about his music i have participated, discussed some of his songs and so on. BUT, like a fanatic like this raghu is one, i have never made one single ridiculous, silly, childish or whatever comment on arr's music. like 'he is the best!!!', 'he is the greatest!!!' and 'all other mds are nothing compared to arr' or whatever.
  all i have done is defended arr when he was attacked by others, and this also only if i was able to give usefull arguments (and no baseless allegations)...so here u should see ramki that i'm not some arr fanatic mad about him, but a very normal fan of arr.

  You never replied for the Saajan's Ghazal song. I believe thats Ghazal. I believe that enough to show SPB's talent to sing Ghazal songs.
  
  4 singers sang the same song, who do you think sang the best. Undoubtfully its SPB. Any comments ?

  Actually, I could just wish ARR in that moment. Frankly, no contacts after that. My uncle actually know him personally and so does he know SPB. Thats how I got to meet SPB & ARR.
  
  Once I've even gone to ARR house when Gentleman's recording was going on, but I didnt meet him. Earlier he used to do his recording in his house.
  
  On the other hand I ve met SPB few times. Have also been to a couple of his recordings and his shows.

  Poeple here should stop trashing Rafi. Though SPB is very great, Rafi was great in his own way. Maybe SPB was better/is better, but that does not mean Rafi is to be trashed.

  How r u kid? so u r learning C++ hmmm, cool, keep it up, very interesting indeed, do u know C programming by any chance, so you call me a SPB fanatic, without personally knowing me, can you justify this, u r saying I am not mature, although I am post graduate, again false accusation, without knowing me, I never bashed any singers, I just stated facts, Hariharan is Nasal, u can not deny that, Unni Krishnan’s voice is too soft, u can not deny that, SPB has the best voice (bass, style, Modulation + Variety), SPB IS FAT, u can not deny that, Super* is dark, U can not deny that, can u deny all these facts, well Can u, Kumar sanu is the biggest nasal singer in India, followed by Udit narayan, u can not deny that.
  
  Just like that facts are facts that does not mean, that when one states facts, it is regarded as being a Fanatic.
  
  BTW, as u are a malayalee, how many SPB songs have you heard in Tamil/Telugu/ Hindi, do you know that there are loads of KJY fanatics in Kerala, like loads of SPB fanatics in Tamil Nadu & Karnataka.
  
  Yeah, I did post in forum hub under the name of Osama in threads, because there are loads of Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam fanatics, there who worship these nasalists, every day in the morning, I just got so annoyed by this fact, so I thought if I use Osama Bin Ladin's name, they will shut Up, He Ha ho.
  
  I can guarantee u that I understand Internet Protocols (IP), Transmission Control protocols (TCP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocols (DHCP) better than u, I am not stupid to post Under different names, as I know it will show the IP address, Once I have posted, OK.
  
  My office in London, consists of 1000 employees, with 100 IT professionals, me being one of them, our company has one IP address, so if any one from company post on TFM, they will have the same IP address as me, as the posting go through the same fire wall, but this is not the case when you are using ISP (internet service providers) like AOL, Free serve, BT Internet, here the IP address varies from different times of the day.

  u seem to be in form today...giving me so much to write back...although i've lot to do now, today and the coming 3 days 2 exams each...so quite stressing week...let me see what i can do now, rest i'll write sometime later, okay?
  
  so now u think that thru showing off ur excellent IT knowledge and ur post graduate degree u can prove ur maturity? sorry buddy, but that is not the way u show ur maturity...ur real maturity u show thru ur 'manasa', 'vaga' and 'karmana' (please don't think that i'm doing the same as u - showing off), the way u 'think', the things u 'say' (in this case now 'write') and the things u 'do'. these are the ways u can show ur maturity to the others, and not thru some degrees or similiar things. hey, but please don't think i'm discrediting ur knowledge and ur degree and all that. not at all...as i am at the beginning of my studies, i admire u people who already have archieved the position u are in.
  so, coming back to the maturity thing...of course i have no idea about how u are in real life and how u behaviour is in ur society and all that, the only way i have here to 'judge' u is thru the things u write here (and in other forums)...and this gives me a quite clear picture about ur personality. and speaking frankly, i wouldn't do this with everyone here, but ur postings attracted my attention somehow, that's why i had to start this discussion...
  
  now coming to ur 'facts': i don't deny to ur facts (although i didn't get why u mentioned SPB IS FAT and Super* is dark in ur list, but, okay). now reading this i somehow have this feeling that u didn't read my postings before carefully...i never denied the facts that hariharan's voice was nasal and that unnikrishnan's voice was too soft. but what i do deny is that if someone comes and says: nasal voice is bad, or soft voice is bad, or rough voice is bad and so on, cause as i mentioned before, there is no good and bad concerning these things, only tastes. to be frank i don't remember each and every post of urs to say for sure if u have bashed any other singer or not...but from my memory now i always remember ur posts where u worship spb, that u discredited other singers for various reasons, such as being nasal, soft or whatever. and this my friend is definitely a negative attitude against other singers. i mean, i don't want to define 'bashing' now, but u surely have treated other widely respected singers such as hariharan and unnikrishnan rather badly...and this is also a fact.

  Have some bloody manners, in your posting, I have never been rude to any other people in this forum, in this forum, so try to be a bit civilised, OK!
  
  My wife (Punjabi) & friends (Pakistanis) who listen to Hindi songs, Prefer SPB's voice over Rafi, but that's just their taste.

  Come one, I only told u about my degree, Profession crap, just because u asked me what I do 4 living, that's all, I do not need 2 show off my IT shills, because there are billions of people who are better qualified & intelligent than me, I am a very humble person, I do not think any think great about my self, I am just an ordinary human being like u.
  
  Coming to SPB, do u know KJY is my next choice after SPB, Let me tell u about some thing about KJY which SPB is not, well, KJY & Balamurali Krishna are much better Carnatic vocalist than SPB, but SPB's Carnatic singing has it's own style, which can not be matched the late M.rafi, this is fact, that's what me & ali were arguing here, until u came in & took this thread to silly meaningless direction.
  
  If you have not heard the entire variety of all singers, like KJY, Ghanatasala, SPB, BMK,TMS,Rafi, Kishore, Mahendre Kapoor, Lata, Asha, Susheela, Janki, Chitra, Gulam ali, hariharan, Udit,Shanker, Sonu, Kumar, Alga Yagnik, Seerkazhi Govinderajan,T.R.Mahalingham,Jiggi,Bhanumathy, bhappi Lahari, RD Burman, SD Burman, ...etc, how on earth can u compare singers, No one can hear the entire range of each singers, but at least 70% range of each singers should be known b4 any comparison, believe me friend, I have heard about 50% of all singers, I love music, it is in my blood, my mother is Carnatic Teacher, I wanted 2 learn, but no time, I just know the very basic, I sing in competitions here in UK, won three 1st prizes for singing in 4 competitions, so please do not assume, I just comment on singers, without any knowledge, I mainly sing SPB, KJY, JEyachandran songs, believe me friend SPB songs are the most difficult to render(well, most of them any way).
