Double meaning cannot be categorized as meaningless.
It has more than one meaning. Appadi irukkache, how can you say it is meaningless.
You can bifurcate this thread and create a thread for kevalamana meaning or double meaning.

yes paa....it has been banned..
even when they sang it on the stage they altered the lyrics a bit...
instead of
"Kalyanamthan kattikitte odipolama,
ille odi poiye kalyanamthan kattikilama,
thaaliyethaan kattikitte pettekalama,
pala pulla kutti pette kitte kattikilama"
they changed it to
"Kalyanamthan kattikitte SOLLIKILAMA,
ille SOLLIPUTTE kalyanamthan kattikilama,

In a way these politicians are adding to the popularity of the movie, by doing such things. I guess no Tamil fan cares about these people. When they are talking this much bull s*it why the hell they are not writing their name as "Maruthuvar Ramdas and Maruthuvar Krishnaswamy". Thanakku oru nyayam, ooruku oru nyayam. Ivangalukku avanga veetlaya yaarum oattu poda maatanga. They are trying to gain popularity by this way.

Past 2 days, myself and Maverick were seeing many songs in KTV/SCV. We listed so many meaningless words in TFM. Nagamum sadhai pola, meaningless words and lyrics in TFM I guess

Tamil lyrics-se meaningless thaane...yendru ninaikam badi avame iruntha seri...
but of all lyricists...i really enjoy Kannadasan and Vairamuthu's lyrics..these 2 have really a vast knowledge in Tamizh...so the way the play with the words are wonderful...unlike Vaali...eventhough he have written some wonderful lyrics...but most of his lyrics are given priority on the rhymes...

email-lil love letter thariya"...and stuff
