  i think these people on IR may be above 30+.
  its just another commercial movie pretend to be a good one. Even KADAHAL Kondein was a better movie than this.
  just for element of interest they made vikaram as a animal kind... he bite the thondai in the last.. was he a maneater at the graveyard...?
  and it has the delivery in the road /graveyard as we see in P.Vasu films. And laila portion was too much. have seen any such kind of father allowing porukki to ride his daughter. if we have one such father in every village then ... think...

  I agree with you.
  Most people are so crazy about IR and ARR. It's probably because they've been in the industry for along time and produced memorable hits. Dina's "Manmatha Raja" is an excellent youthful song.Harris Jeyaraj did a superb job in Kakka-Kakka and Saamy. Also, Bharthwaj's "Gemini" was superb to.
  
  These music composers are just beginning to get appreciated.

  IR and ARR have been in the Industry so long because they are the best. In the entertainment industry either you entertain people or be confined to sidelines. But even then, I am sure IR has refused enough movies, which provided windows of opportunity to other people. Eg. Pudhu vasantham, Nammavar etc.

  Looks like the guy who reviewed in thinnai dotcom is deeply affected by Bala. I hope he recovers from his predicament.

  Kavin : you are very lucky, bcos the movie is not yet released in Bangalore.
  
  Bala must remeber that the audiance in the cinema hall spent their money to buy the ticket.
  
  I personlally feel that the film is totally artificial.
  
  1. Vikram does not speak any, he behaves like animal !
  
  2. Laila, An engineering student loves a porukki and a cheater ( suriya !), with out any solid reason !!
  
  3. when suriya kidnabs Simaran, i expected a big turning point in the story ( i have seen the very first show of the movie., so no body told the story ). when we came to know that is just for fun and song, i was disappointed. I think this is the only film in which simran has not shown her hip, though she is there in the film for more that 60 seconds !!!!
  
  There is no story at all. simply few events.
  
  I think bala is forced to do some thing different. but he did indifferent from his previous.

  Another point about this PM movie. They show Vikram who does not even know to suck him thumb at distress and that he is completely devoid of any feeling about Surya's death. He sits there looking at the sky when the corpse is there by his side.
  
  How this dumb fellow knew that the Ganja grower was the cause for Surya's death ? He makes a beeline for him and kills him!
  
  Like "foolish" has optly said Laila's charaterisation is idiotic. After the gambling debacle she throws herself on the ground and acts as if she is in a fit (Kakka valippu) why ?
  If Vikram does not guard himself against such stupid characters he will soon begin to overact.
  This was what happenned to Sivaji ganesan. In his initial movies like Parasakthi and Raja Rani, he did wonderful acting. later when people began to hipe that he was a character actor, he beagn to overact. Beware Vikram!

  Good that Vikram should know what happened to sivaji. A Great actor turned as an totally artificial actor bcaz of wrong acting pattern. Pithmahan is the first step to that for vikram .Vikram beware.
  Vikarm hair style reminds Jayshankar in Enga pattan soththu and Jambu. brown hair etc....

  whatever u may comment or argue,Pithamagan is a superhit and accepted as a gr8 movie by the viewers which is evident from the response of the people.Just by ur opinions result is not going to change.

  Hi Vikram fan, there is no second opinion on vikram immense talent. but this movie will take him to wrong acting pattern thats the worry.we cry for vikram safety and u clap for vikram to see hell in tomorrow movie world. let this see 175 days nothing wrong. u know there is a drop in women audience, no kids, no second time viewers. if u are really care about vikram tell the truth to safeguard him. dont be a jalra and kill his future.

  A Word to those people who try to deride a movie that is good on its own, just because of your prejudices. If only this movie had a score by AR Rahman, these same people would have said that it is so good and all this talk about Laila falling for a 'prorukki' and these kind of statements would have disappeared.
  
  When you are talking about the merits of the movie you shouldn't be viewing it with a tinted glass which goes by the long name "IR is the Music Director".

  I suggest people to read Jayakanthan's NANDHAVANATHIL ORU ANDI story written in 1956. Story about a VETTIYAN's feeling and what made him to cry in the end of the story. And another story in the same collection has the hero name as SITTHTHAN.
  The acting of viram and music is really great.But we are all educated and cultured. we should not allow anyone to steal the creative work of another person. BALA has cheated tamil literature by stealing JAYAKANTHAN's story without even giving a honor in the title .
  Ilayaraja's brother PAvalar Varadharajan is a close friend of jayakanthan. and ilayarajaa came and met Jayakanthan when he first landed in chennai -long back.-
  who ever it may be, we have to talk the truth to protect the right talented and original owners of any creative people.
