Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Just because subbudu has ridiculed rehman you dont term him bad or idiot ok?
  He is not like ARR haters over here. I am a fan of AR Rehman and I respect subbudu as well. So dont call him as stupid and all. Atleast respect for his age..
  And for god sake dont talk abt caste and religion. No brahmin thinks like that.

  for me, ppl. who cannot come out of their prejudice are stupids.....and though subbudu is such a knowledgable person, he cannot come out of his prejudice of anti-arr....... see, greatness w/o humility looks stupid....that's exactly wat subbudu is..... as for respect for his age,always remember:
  "GROWING OLD IS COMPULSORY,GROWING WISER IS OPTIONAL"......respect a wise man rather than a old man......
  
  as for as the brahminical part, well i'm also a brahmin(but i hate to be called one), i've seen many of those pseudo-carnatic brahmins,who criticise ARR so much......i have a spl. hatred for them...... but as i said I STAND CORRECTED... new age brahmins are so different that they are automatically out of such inhibitions..... sorry if i had hurt any brahmins.....

  MADDY, I totally agree with you..subbudu is a typical old man..who likes the thyagaraja bhagavathar type of songs..and cant appreciate/digest the greatness of ARR!!I didnt see one article subbu ridiculing IR/YSR/HJ/VS etc etc..

  This is my opinion
  Why dont ppl take some persons criticism as a opinion rather than a big thing!!.. Though I dont agree to Subbudu (being a big time carnatic fan) i will never ever call somebody stupid (when i am sane.. xcept one time in tfm i called somebody idiot and apologized). That is the way.. and Subbudu is seen to be a gr8 man on the carnatic side. That surely does not mean degradation of Music appreciation.. If you guys dont like Carnatic So be it, if Subbudu voice his opinion over ARR music So be it, it does not tarnish anybody's image
  
  So i would request any body to stop saying Subbudu is an IDIOT OR STUPID, If somebody does that, then it shows their maturity and appreciation of music. Secondly if there is a critic there is a appreciating public also.. so it is balanced, otherwise there would not be arguments and there would not be knowledge. But refrain from calling some stalwarts and gr8s in some other field who respect the Carnatic music (that is very much south-indian) to be IDIOT.
  
  I dont agree to all the Subbudu stuff!!, but i will not call him STUPID, but ignore for that part.
  
  Have u seen SIMON COWELL for AMERICAN IDOL then u would understand.. among lot of booing and appreciation, he is GOOD, he might not be genious, he does tell the reality and truth sometimes, i respect that.. that is all u need in a person.

  hello mr.MIL, u expect a 20-yr old like me to have the maturity to understand a strange man like subbudu......but u dunt expect a old man like subbudu to be a bit more sensible in criticising ARR..... also y he always supports IR and blindly rejects ARR...... he will never get respect from me.......
  
  lyrics of yuva is horrible........i'm really worried abt. yuva cos it has both flop king and flop queen in it-Abhishek and Kareena.... and look at this for a comparison: Kareena and trisha...... devil and the angel......
