arr is now giving us just mindless pop music under the excuse of youth movies (parasuram, boys, e20u18). i prefer listening to authentic pop than this crap. waste of money hm.....

ARR recent albums are doing pretty good in musical quality.. i dont care abt sales.. KKS is one good complete album..
This is the first sign that arr is going down, only his fans like his music.

yeah! may be too much of thullal, that could be the reason for the failure, hehehe

So what if ARR is going down? The world is not going to end. Greater musicians than him have bitten the dust in the past. This phenomenon is nothing new. The old fadeth and the new emergeth.

Yes, the old fadeth and the new emergeth. But does not apply to some & that inlcudes Ilayaraja.

The film simply belongs to AR Rehman and Vivek- the moment a Rehman number ends, Vivek appears with his comedy. The moment Vivek ends his comedy, Rehman appears with yet another wonderful song.
The lyrics of the song 'Sandhipoma' have captured the mood of the lovers. The song is a feast for the eyes and the ears. But, showing too much of crowd for each song sequence (a la Shankar?) has somehow reduced the song's melody and impact.
Wow... Buss...

A beautiful, lively and attractive title.
Young director Jyothikrishna (AM Rathnam's son) is solely obsessed with making a magnificent and lavish film. Not a bad thought, but he should have seen to it that the magnificence matches with the story.
Trisha and Tarun sit in front of each other while traveling by train one day. Eyes talk and they fall in love with each other. But, they don't speak a word to each other. Once home, they start desperately searching for each other. For the next 2 ½ hours, they take the audience on a trip and finally meet with each other in the same train again. Thank God, the film ends!
People who had seen 'Unnai Paartha Naal Muthal' and 'Jey Jey' would have been irritated in the beginning.
The film simply belongs to AR Rehman and Vivek- the moment a Rehman number ends, Vivek appears with his comedy. The moment Vivek ends his comedy, Rehman appears with yet another wonderful song.

Tarun is okay. The camera attempts to show Trisha in a glamorous way for the first time. Shreya, as a football coach, is an absurdity. It sets a bad example- in the hero's gang, there always has to be a very attractive and glamorous girl.
Who cares about sentiments? The mothers of both the hero and heroine are absolute tortures. These women, together, have destroyed anything and everything that was interesting about the film.
Why bring in artificiality even in the scene in which Trisha and Tarun meet? Without logic, they try to scare the audience with a bomb in the stadium.
Such unnecessary lavishness has made the scenes lose its believability and poignancy.
You are bound to love the songs and the comedy track. Everything else is very deletable.

First of all I am an HCIR fan, but as it is hard to accept for some ppl here, ARR has given some good music in the recent albums.. esp boyz, KKS, et all..
Where is he going down? i was recently in India.. boyz was not a gr8 ablum according to my opinion but a good one. considering the fact the mundane music which was played over in Sun TV and all other TV channels, boyz sounded different.. and it was a pleasant feel..

Very average, run of the mill fare. Sandippoma is OK. The rest are all noise catering to youth that will soon be forgotten. Kangalal Kaidhu Sei on the other hand is an excellent album with all the songs being good. I guess it takes a demanding director to push to get quality music.

Why dont you people just graciously admit to the notorious bigotry of people like 'Caps' MusicLover(This guy makes me sick with his Caps) and Nattamai???
All they want to hear is ARR is going down! They dont really care. Yoiu can clearly see the loser-faced defense that Natammai is making. There is not an iota of sense and thought in his statement. But he audaciously still comes here and says ARR is going down
Come on Guys! Just brush these stupidities aside and enjoy the music that you like. Who cares if some confused supercilious twits want to take a dig at ARR and your emotions?
Long Live Music!

Disappointing show on audio sales for E20U18. AM Ratnam atleast made some good money on Boys audio but E20U18 was a big disappointment.

There will not be any questions about bestsellers and hits mean same things. But thundu mannan hasn't delivered anything this year as dumb dinesh alike claim here. He is now paththodu pathinonnu, that is about it. He should have done something more for the money he is getting and for the hype! but fails miserably at every attempts. That is my point.
